My Rusty BMW 2002 1972 Round Taillight (Hidden Gem?)

I recently purchased a 1972 2002 BMW from a guy about 20 minutes from my house, he explained that this specific car sat in a barn for 15 years or so. The cars odometer only shows 59000 miles on it. I think this car is truly a hidden gem, finding one of these running and driving for under 10k is a rarity now a days. Clean restored examples go for 50k+. I only paid $5500 for mine!

The early 70's BMW 2002 is truly a hidden gem. I drove my parents best friend car ("73" 2002) from L.A. to Yosemite and the ride is smooth and yet, makes you feel like your racing on a grand prix. This is my dream BMW car that I want to own one day!!

So it was the 1602 2002, E21 then the E30 l bought my first BMW a 2002ti back in 1973 When BMW introduced the 2002 it was a real game changer I'm in the process of restoring a 1973 2002tii in Algave green

Really nice car! Had one, just a few months ago. Did some maintenance on it and sold it for good money (Some vids about it are on my channel). Sadly I did the same bought it pretty cheap cleaned it up got it running a little better and passed it onto someone that can give it the love it deserves I just wasn’t in the position to completely restore it, sadly!
