No need to answer. I just want you to know how much I enjoy watching you and the Woof Pack. I just purchased a 2003 Road Trek and plan on hitting the road with my rescue dog named Buckwheat. We probably will not be full timing but I do hope to make it to RTR in 2018 and to meet you and others I follow on YT. Before my husband died we spent much time in our 5th wheel and I realized that this was not something I was ready to stop doing. I am making a "new normal" for me and Buckwheat and following you and others has convinced me that even at 73 years in age there is a place for me with people who love RV'ing life as much as my husband and I did. I know that I will find many new friends along this journey. Thank you for sharing your RV life with us.

CVK-- Go to the home improvement store and get a hard wood cutting board that will cover both sinks at the same time. Drill holes and put rubber feet on the bottom just wide enough to straddle the sinks but close enough for an acceptable fit. It works well on my camper sink. --Papa Dale

Don't worry about cut onions...they actually have sulfur compounds that are anti-bacterial, so quite the opposite. As a dedicated from scratch home cook I regularly finely dice/slice and store onions for several days and they're perfectly fine. I do like to put some thinly sliced onions in the pickle jar/brine to make pickled onions for sandwiches and other goodies (yum!) which is basically the same as what you're doing with the peppers. Cheers!

I love watching your videos. I am glad to hear your cutting out the garbage in comments. There are so many hate filled people out there and it makes me truly so sad that anyone could gain pleasure out of trying to hurt others and trying to spread hatred. I would rather your time be spent making the videos and what all it takes editing them and uploading them bc I enjoy watching them. I think most of us subscribers feel this way. Good thinking about the onions. They do pick up bacteria. I read an article way back about people being afraid to leave their picnic potato salad out in the sun because they were afraid of the Mayo making them sick. Turns out it was the onions in the salad making them ill. there ya go. ; )
@sharongypsydove83967 жыл бұрын
all false... my grandmother my mother and myself have always left onions out and never been sick for them as a matter of fact my grandfather used to cut an onion in half and eat a half onion every single day most of his life it keep illness away kind of like an apple a day thing and I can only remember twice in my entire life that my grandfather was ever sick www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2002018-are-leftover-onions-poisonous/

We bought a brand new 2016 Thor Vegas last season. We were told the bathroom sink goes to the black tank because extra water is needed in there for solids to dissolve. We were getting 2/3 full even after a dump. Turns out it was our sensors and we fixed that by putting alot of dishwasher detergent in there and and alot of water and drove. Now we have been using "Happy Camper" in the black tank, and making sure we use the bathroom sink, and haven't had any probs.

Wooden or bamboo cutting boards for top of the sink, can also open a drawer and put the cutting board on top of it for work space, could buy a TV table (snack table) and use that to work on then fold to put away. It won't block your drawers plus could use it outside as well for portable ease. Seat covers can be king size blankets that you tuck in plus pull the back together and cinch with black binder clips (normally for papers). Just some thoughts....

Keven you can make your own cover for over the sink. You can make one big one that goes over both sinks or two, one for each side. Cut a piece of 3/4 ply wood the size you want then on the under side install those rubber or plastic feet that has the screws recess and install them in all 4 corners so that the board does not slide around. Then of course put a good finish on the wood. I like clear.

Campervan Kevin ... I admire your determination to keep your channel and comments upbeat, positive and welcoming. I view KZbin channels as a representation of the creator. With that mind-set some people should be ashamed of themselves. On the other hand Kevin can stand tall and proud. And there's no need to be concerned re replying to all comments. I have always felt anyone that anyone that posts with expectations of a comment from the creator to have very unrealistic expectations. My posts are merely feedback. No response expected and certainly not necessary to maintain loyalty. Being an adult (and certainly older than CVK!), I realistically know life is short - spend your time enjoying your life. Your true fans will be here, anxiously ready for your next viseos.

A cutting board , or go to a cabinet maker place for a scrap of formica top, have it cut to fit with some peg legs to keep it in place while traveling for sink covers. I use a tv tray set up in my very small aisle space ( I have a small van) for some extra space.

Our 2016 Itasca Class C bathroom sink drains into the black water tank too. I bought our kitchen sink cover on Ebay after I measured the sink opening, it's made of King Starboard Polymer. Bought the hinges on Amazon. Your breakfast looked great!

Hi Kevin! This is the lady from Key West who met you at the Ehrenberg Laundramat. I am still on the road but moved over to New Mexico now. Measure your sink openings and you may find a ready made wood cutting board that will be a good fit or a little trim will do it. "Carolyn" shows her cutting board that just happened to fit her sink perfectly and slides from one side to the other. I made more counter space in my rig when my son-in-law redid my counter tops by going to a single but larger sink and hi-rise faucet. Your videos are getting even better lately and I really enjoy watching. Thank you.

When people install new countertops the bit that's cut out for the sink is normally tossed away. If you go by a granite or marble place they probably will give you that piece that was cut out, they have no use for it. You could also get one of those thick white cutting boards at Walmart, just get a big one and that will cover your sink and you can chop on it plus it would make a good portable writing surface. I love your puppies.

We store our cut onions in a glass jar as well. New onions we wrap individually in newspaper or those cheap paper bags. They store a really long time that way. Your new camera has a beautiful, clear picture.
