Almost started crying when you entered Pennsylvania... my sister lived there for about 6 years, I never got to visit. You had Cello music playing as you drove into the state * My sister played Cello... After she and my mother were in a car accident, they both separately died later... first my mom, and 3 months later my sister... I love watching you love your dog. I lost my Roxy less than a week ago. She was almost 15 and I laid next to her and kissed her as she passed. I tried to keep her alive with some new drugs but they maybe added a few months. And I cried every day of those months knowing how close we were to the end. It makes me want to stop owning dogs …the pain is so deep. But of course there is nothing like a dog. The love is worth the pain.

Fantastic video! Carolyn, you are one hell of a cook! You should open a chain of restaurants... Just make sure you put one near me, lol! I absolutely hate cooking...it takes forever to make something, and 5-10 minutes to eat it. My method of cooking is...what's quick? But if you put out a cookbook...that could change things. I just recently found you. I did comment on a few of your older videos. The one where you talked about your addiction(s) and the other one where you talked about how you became a full time RVer. I have toyed with the idea of doing a channel because I feel like I have an 'inspiration' to share. But I know nothing about technology or how to go about it. I am a single mom, recently retired from the 'career', but now a jewelry artist. I have an adult son with an intellectual disability and basically 3 different lives that I am living. One, in my place of residence which is Colorado, and where my son's services are based out of. Two, a best friends cabin I bought to share with my bff of 50+ years. and Three, my newly found camper life. I take my son, my dog and one of my cats (that is bullied by the other cats) on my cabin and RV adventures. I think my life would be good to share with other moms (and dads) that have the constriction like I have. It's a challenge. It's dangerous. It may be perceived as selfish on my part. I am almost 60. What advice do you have for me. I feel like so many of your experiences and opinions are so close to mine. Isn't it strange for you how your viewers feel like they know you? Any advice...camera...how you film...hints...getting started...are welcome. Tracey

I would also watch some other KZbinrs.. My Basic Journey is a good one.. she has a great eye for the camera, and great editing skills.. I also enjoy Wonderhussy Adventures, and Nikki Devanthal.. they can also help with ideas.. they all have also been doing it a long time.. for ANY KZbinrs you can look at thier older videos and see how far they've come through the years. Good luck.. it takes a lot of dedication.

It'll be good when you travel through Canada as far as camping costs go because the dollar is doing pretty good in Canada. It costs more like $13 a night to camp there.

Yes! I love my puppy and my kitties so much, it's kinda gross. It's just as much as they deserve. Thanks for the trip back east and all (mostly) on the back roads. I've done that one a few times myself. What year is your rig? Just curious. I keep thinking I might want to switch my skoolie out for an actual RV until I see the mpgs everyone gets. I'm just under 11mpg in my bus. I make my own hummus, too. It makes store-bought seem like paper towel. No taste.

Hi carolyn, just watched the rerun of your live just wantted to tell you that im so happy you had a safe and uneventful trip accross the country thats a lot of miles and a lot of not so great drivers to deal with glad youmade it ok! Then i saw the campsite that they left trashed,, there is NO excuse for that i went to myfavorite campspot in the gila national forest some one was in my spot so i waited for them to leave cause i wanted that spot i was going to be there for allmost three weeks i picked up 4of the large black trash bags of crap they left behind,, thats enough to get your blood boiling who ever does that should be banned from camping for life!! Be careful carolyn looking forward to your northern adventures!!❤❤

Here's mine and it's oil free. 2 c cooked chickpeas (save the agua faba) 2 garlic cloves 2 T tahini - probably optional but I love it! 2 T lemon juice 1 1/2 t cumin 1/2 t salt Throw it all in a blender until smooth. Add agua faba as needed to blend. I like to sprinkle Hungarian paprika on it. This is a basic hummus recipe. Can make all kinds. Love them all.
