I think the saddest part is them coming back years later still needing validation from some bullying losers. I was the person who was cool with everybody in school and I stopped any bullying that took place in my presence. I'm still like that now.
@toyafoster31732 ай бұрын
I get what you are saying but being teased by kids can be devastating and affect you as an adult. If you didn't endure it, then you can't understand...I wouldn't want to do anything like this but having a sense of vindication can be freeing for some people
@doneeshacunningham29492 ай бұрын
@@toyafoster3173I agree . I got teased an I'm still recovering. Got teased for wearing pay less shoes and because my weight would go up and down due to having pcos . I'm glad I don't have the facial hair part because I would have gotten teased more. Also I'm from the stl and it was only blacks bullying me. I had to prove I was fully black because I'm smart and can read well. Also they didn't believe I was black because hair texture is more on the 4a side . It was hell but half of them are dead due to gun violence.
@Trp5102 ай бұрын
There’s no nothing sad about that, I’m sure you probably get validation every day via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., etc. back then they didn’t have any of those sites , barely even had internet,so the only place you could really get validation/ notice was to come on tv . Back in the 90s and the 80s the only way to ever get yourself out there, was to either get on a radio station or on a TV show.

@@HighMaintenanceMinimalistSorry boo, but you're incorrect. Why would she tell him he needs to remove his hair by waxing, when he didn't have any hair on him? Didn't you see that his skin was smooth? So yes It was a euphemism. Body builders tend to put body wax /Vaseline/oil on their bodies to make their muscles glisten and show more. She meant exactly what she said: She was talking about rubbing him down with oil and making his muscles shine. I know because I am from that time period. Born in the '70s. A teen in the '80s. Young adult in the '90s. In my thirties in the 2000s. That is how we spoke back then. Anyway, you can tell by the way she was looking at him what she meant. The body language was obvious. Ruth stop it! There was nothing deplorable about that brother at all. Get out of your feelings. You're more upset at him then Karenca was. And yes, Teehee it was a different time then where what he did was completely innocent and acceptable. She wanted him to see how she looked, and he did just that. I find it funny that out of all the people on the panel who teased and/or ignored their classmate, you two just had to single out the Black man. Wow. Imagine that. Gee I wonder why. SMH

Samatha was really pretty in high school. She looked better than the other girl talking about her.

The saddest thing about the shows is how people put so much value in other people's opinions. Especially people who don't like them! It makes no sense if you look to someone else for your value, you will always feel undervalued!

So true but being young, childish n ignorant about those situations Dnt make you realize it until you experience it personally. The bullying helped me n made me stronger. Now insults is water on the back knowing, the other person doesn’t know me n is only deflecting who they are.
