I knew but understood why it was a private thing. I am proud of you, and it is a difficult thing but something that brings freedom and joy. Just keep being yourself, and don't let anyone stop you. Hi Gavin, yes it is weird that in 2023 that coming out should be an issue. However, there are still so many homophobes out there. Adam B has seen so many of them comment on his recent videos. Some of the things they have said to Adam and his boyfriend Dom have been really bad. So no wonder many LGBTQ+ people still feel scared to come out.

When I was born, and until I was a teenager, being a practising gay was illegal! Well done for coming out! There MUST BE NO GOING BACK to the awful days of my youth. Even after 'it' became legalised (ie for the over 21yo) there was still A LOT of homophibia in society. Post PM Margaret Thatcher, things have become much easier. I recognise so much of this - even the not saying you're gay thing. I've said things like "girls aren't my thing" just because saying the actual word was hard.
