'I knew it would be good for me in the long run, but it was really difficult and made me worse at first.' No, not just a “bit”, it’s way more than that!.. Hey j perm! I was at a camp the previous month and two people in my cabin but had Rubix cubes. They could solve them relatively fast and it interested me. So when i got home i ordered a cheap cube from the internet to give it a go. After an hour or so as i was about to give up, i found your tutorial! It’s by far the best one out there and explains things really well!. I can now solve a 3x3 in under a minute on average. But I didn’t want to stop there, so i got a bundle of puzzles and learned the 2x2, pyraminx, and the 4x4! Hey man. I just finished watching part 1-4 of this series. I just got back to speed cubing after quitting for more or less 4 years i think. I was averaging 22 secs before i quit. A few weeks ago I decided to go back to speed cubing and set a goal to finally be sub 20. To do that, I needed a new cube. My 7(?) year old Dayan Zanchi was at the end of it's life. It keeps popping out after a few solves as the screw keeps getting loose. So I asked my sister for a GAN356 XS and she bought me one. Watched some of your tutorials on how to improve my cross and f2l and currently i'm getting a 14-22 secs solves. Mostly 20+ secs but got a new PB of 11 secs (From my previous PB of 12 secs a few years back with my Zanchi) a few hours ago. Before going back to speed cubing I had a goal to learn full PLL and OLL but i procrastinated. But after seeing this series it inspired me. It may be difficult at first but as the message of your video says, it'll be worth it in the end. You may not read this but all I can say is thank you. Thank you for inspiring me to learn new things even though it'll be hard at first. Thanks for this. Cheers from the Philippines. :)

This video was made years ago, yet it's still the best video I've ever seen. This video was also somewhat educational. Thank you, Jperm, you've taught me a lot. You truly do deserve all of your subscribers, and even more.

Loved this video series! It's nice how u split it up into 4 parts. Cuz 4 in 1 may have been too long and unappealing in the suggestions
