I grew the tickle petunias last year and they were 5-6 ft tall. Salvias are one of my favourite plants as I grow many varieties. I have grown the red variety you have. I did not find issues with the flowers falling off. They got much bigger in the ground than in a big pot. But my absolute #1 is Victoria Salvia (Johnnys). It gets 5 ft tall and is absolutely stunning. I love the branching sunflowers….I will be looking out for them next year. I live in Canada and doubt I can find them here. I grow 1000 flower seedlings a year for my own enjoyment and we have just put in a greenhouse and will be growing vegetables in raised beds. Look forward to seeing your garden progress….subscribed. ❤

Grew Superbissima from seed last year and the flowers are gorgeous. I often need to grow some varieties from seed because I can't find them in the greenhouses. And yes, coleus are easy to grow and I was able to share with family and friends. Want to try the New Look Dusty Miller. Dusty Miller is such a great contrast to flowers.

I have just "abandoned" and online cart. I do that normally because I second guess my choices. What usually happens is I get a discount code and then I add more to the cart. Does that still count as saving? 😂

I've grown godetia in the past. The second 'clarkia' you showed certainly looks like a godetia. In MY garden, zone 3 with seeds started inside, it took a long time for them to come into bloom but SO pretty.

Hi Corey, love your choices and will borrow some 😊 I seen a vegetable garden surrounded by what must be the Big Duck marigold. I’m assuming as a deterrent for pests. They were fabulous! Learn to like tomatoes, they’re a natural cancer fighter 💪🏻 Don’t forget to collect seeds from your petunias that you grow from seed, hopefully they’ll grow well and give you lots for later Most of my collection is from plants I’ve bought once and saved seeds from. I did luck out with the little corner store near where I live and found lots of seeds I’d been searching online for. They’re on their last legs with the date tho so we’ll see how they grow. $1.99 for one pack so worth the try. Also, as for deer, they’re eating from my bird feeders that I have on Shepard hooks so that’s new lol

I do naturally get the abandoned cart discount because I like to wait a few weeks to make sure I don’t want to make changes and also to get over the sticker shock. I am afraid that if people start publishing information about it, recommending doing it on purpose, the seed companies will stop the discount. FYI, Aunt Molly’s isn’t really a tomato, it’s a completely different plant, physalis. It’s only sometimes referred to as a ground tomato, more often as a ground cherry, because of the size resembling cherry tomatoes or cherries.

I grew petunias from seed for the first time last year. Wow they did so awesome planted in the ground. Funny I bought many of the same seeds as you. Will be great to see how the preform for both of us.

I have coral candy for this year too. Also picked up several of the other premium sun and premium shade impatiens but I can't remember all of the names. I have ~22 varieties of petunias for 2025 so that will be fun to deal with shortly lol.

Great variety, looks like a fun year inbound. About the Ground Tomato Aunt Molly, they are not actually tomatoes. They are in genus Physalis (ground cherry and tomatillo), whereas tomatoes are in genus Solanum (tomatoes and potatoes) though they are in the same family (Solanaceae, the nightshades). So liking Aunt Molly doesn’t really contradict your dislike for tomatoes.

My favorite topic! SEEDS!! You have some fun varieties there! I haven't paid full price for seeds (or for shipping!) in a while, thanks to your video from last year. The new (to me) one I'm really excited about growing this year is Kong Scarlet coleus. You could Winter Sow the petunias, then take your containers with you when you go back to Posen. I've had success growing them that way in northeast Iowa.

Those are going to look great. I like nasturtiums, but tried them this year from seeds and the flea beetles also loved them.

This is great timing as I have carts started and I like to get seeds ordered before year-end. New Look is already in my possession 😊. One of my favourite from seed petunias is the Opera series, and Raspberry Ice is beautiful!

I've grown the Peek-A-Boo and it is super cool. The plant has really great habit, compact and full. The numbing doesn't last long. I had to try it as well.. 😅

@@UpNorthGardenMI I grow this every year in zone 5B. I don't even need to start it early, just throw the seeds in the ground. One word of warning though...this last year I got brave and decided to pop a whole flower in my mouth. If you don't want to excessively drool for a good 5 minutes, don't do what I did.

Corey, I had petunias come up in the cracks of my sidewalk last spring. I’m sure they sprouted from my GreenStalk tower the year before. I dug most of them out and planted them in my flower bed, and they literally choked a lot of the other plants in my garden. Had to trim them back a few times because they were growing out over the sidewalk. The trimming certainly didn’t faze them at all. Would love to send you a picture if I can. Don’t know what to send it to.

I tried New Look two years ago, only one seed of 50 germinated and then Quickly died. I soil-block and have great success, so I’m guessing I had some “bad” seeds.
