I just beat the final boss THIS MORNING. I spent 8 hours grinding him Saturday and Sunday and then 4 more hours midnight-4am sunday night. Some regret. But by the end I learning that godamn boss down to his every foot step. Feel amazing. And somewhat nauseous from lack of sleep. Thanks for sharing your experience too!

I remember the grind on him…he whooped my ass so much…huge accomplishment. Good job man. Whenever you finally beat the gauntlet version of him lol….that fight will feel like your basic enemy in the game. He’s one of the best bosses from soft has made. Once you learn his new patterns you’ll really grow to appreciate it on another level…if you do the gauntlets

I had the same emotions when playing this game. I decided to take the journey once a year (from Dark Souls to Sekiro) but definitely Sekiro is the one I enjoyed the most. Took me a while to finish it because I kept being distracted by the landscapes! I know you like to do blind runs bu, when you finish it, do you go back with a guide to see everything? There's some stuff on FromSoft games that are really hard to find by yourself. But yeah, the first run should always be a blind one.

Sry for the late comment. The trick to return the lighting bolt back to Ishinn and Genishiro is that you must do a neutral jump. Do NOT touch the left analog stick, just jump on place.
