Cold steel drop forged push dagger and boot knives are nice one piece construction and quite nice for the price.

The enthusiasm you bring to the topic of self defense blades is palpable. Easy to see why you became a knife maker. What model is the first Cold Steel push dagger you showed? The blade length on it is very ample for a push dagger.

Kabar tdi are my favorite. Early on an officer was cut by a perp using the officers knife so there is that. Kabar made a space force version amd by far the coolest edc knife I own.

My most favorite are single edged push daggers that you can also use for utility as suppose to the double edged that are chisel grind.

Good video and good review....I trip put on how many "knife experts" out here say this and that.....in prison u would be surprised what u have to use to defend urself.....I've seen pieces of sharpened plastic end someone's life real quick...its all about placement.

I was looking for people to review my beloved FDX 66. And no, I don't use it for self defense, I don't use any knife for self defense in fact. Such a shame basically nobody is reviewing it and speaking of their experiences with it.

ALL knives can be used for self defense...NOT all knives can be used for bushcraft.....you would be surprised how many people that carry a knife won't have what it takes to put it inside of someone....I do NOT recommend using a knife for self defense.....carry a firearm.

EVERY human being WILL put a knife in a stranger when their adrenaline is pumping and their life in on the line. And not everybody can legally carry a gun... 🤦‍♂️ It much easier for most people to carry knife depending on what state they live in.

@@NoReply28 ur wrong...atleast the "put a knife in someone" I did 15 years in prison.....where everyone is a criminal of some sort.....not everyone had what it took to stab someone..... human beings aren't wired that way.
