Hi Pete, I followed your suggestions and did the flying field tests. I decreased the Tail Gain by -4% with a final value of 37% and the Throttle Control by -2% with a final value of 37%. I also decreased Swash Exp by -2% to make the control with the sticks smoother. The result is excellent. I would like to thank you very much Dear Pete, your availability and competence have helped me a lot. I'm awaiting delivery of a FlyWing UH-1 V3 Huey. I hope I don't have any problems. Thanks my friend.

Hi it was a pleasure to help and I am pleased i have been able to support you to achieve the perfect flying heli. Your feed back and response is much appreciated, this is why I have developed my channel and it makes me feel humble to be able to support a fellow enthusiast. Good luck with the Huey I have read allot and watched allot of videos where there seems to be problems with the ESC overheating. Be cautious and observant after each flight to the temperature of the ESC and I am sure everything will be OK. I wish you many happy flight and the most graceful landings every flight.

Hi Pete, I want to thank you for the help you have given me. I put your setting on my FlyWing FW450L V2.5 Airwolf and now it runs much better. I'm using it in standard fly. There remains some pitching at some moments. Which parameter could I change? Thank you.
@All_things_RC.9 ай бұрын
Hi I am pleased that I have been able to help and that you have flown the Airwolf. First step will be to reduce your tail gain, I suggest this in increments of 2% max total of 6%. If the pitching remains or gets worse stop lowering the tail gain but leave the setting where it is. Begin to reduce the throttle control again in 2% increments until a maximum of 6%. Dont take the throttle control gain lower than 68%. if the pitching continues then lower only the tail gain from this point in 2% increments. You will find that decreasing by max 12% total on the tail gain should stop the pitching but it is important to change in only 2% increments. Please keep in mind if the pitching gets worse you will need to increase the settings not lower. Now I have put the scale body on my 450L 2.5 I have had to lower the tail gain to 22% and the throttle gain to 68% I guess due to the weight and or drag.

I also had to install the drivers (come in the zip folder) on both my Windows 7 and 10 machines. Run as administrator may help if anyone has problems installing.

Is that fly sky i6s? Is it compatible with H1? Is the gyro working fine?

Hi Pete, very interesting video. A few days ago I purchased a FlyWing FW450L V2.5 Airwolf. I installed H1 software V2.0 on my computer and immediately saw that it had been set to Sport mode and that the parameters were very different from yours. On the first flight I immediately noticed that the helicopter was very unstable. I wonder if your configuration is also right for my Airwolf. Can you advise me which configuration to adopt? Thank you. Maurizio.
@All_things_RC.9 ай бұрын
Hi Maurizio The settings on my H1 controller were fully different when I received my 450L to those I have shown in my video. The H1 control is a flight stabilisation / positioning system therefore a 450 size heli will have similar settings irrespective of the aircraft type. Both the Airwolf and the 450L are similar sized helis so my setting will be a safe starting point. Have you noticed the videos on my channel of the 600 size EC145? This has an H1 controller on board and the settings of the EC145 Controller is very similar to the settings on the 450L. Hope this helps but please dont hesitate to contact if you require further assistance.

Hi Pete, my new FlyWing UH-1 V3 Huey has finally arrived. Today I made the first flights at my flying field. It's a nice helicopter. I didn't touch the preset settings and I noticed that from perfectly still in hovering in GPS mode, the helicopter starts to move forward at a fairly high speed as soon as I switch to ATT mode. Could the Collective Pitch setting be incorrect? Please advise me on how to resolve it. Thank you.
@All_things_RC.8 ай бұрын
Hi Glad to hear you have received the UH-1 and completed a successful maiden. My 450L V2.5 does the same when I switch to 3D Mode. I had a go at changing the advanced (collective) settings in the PC software while following the instructions to save the settings once completed on flight modes 1, & 2. At this stage I didnt have any difference in the collective when switching between GPS & 3D modes. I clicked disconnect when coming out of the software and then switched off the heli and Tx. After re-arming the Tx and Heli I found the settings had returned to the default settings and when switching to 3D the head once again move to different positions the two settings. As yet I haven't managed to resolve this and have just been happy to fly the heli in GPS mode. I will try again to resolve this and let you know the outcome.

Hi Pete, very kind as always. I hope we can find a solution, it's not nice to have the model run away. Thank's my friend.

Hi Pete, today I flew the new FlyWing UH-1 HUEY with one modification and solved the problem of excessive advance in ATTI mode. In the 2.0 software I set the Swash Trim Forward to 1470 instead of 1500 as per the initial configuration. Now it's perfect. HI. Maurice

All I can suggest Geoff is to delete the file from your computer and then re down load the zip file from the web site. If this doesn't work I suggest contacting Fly Wing direct. Also try the comment made by @flyingPanMan below this could help.

Hi Geoff this is Deja Vu moment I took off to the end of the strip turned right and the heli came back up the strip at low level in a right roll. A viewer on KZbin told me I should have switched to 3D mode counted to 3 and switched back to GPS. HAHA like my reactions are as good as that at 60years old. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKWtiJJqbpWMraM
