Best guitar solo ever on My Sharona..., Bruce Gary was a phenomenal drummer!

Get The Knack is one of my favorite all time albums. Every song on the album is great!

Get The Knack is also one of the best sounding vinyl albums I ever bought. The dynamics are amazing.

First band I latched on to. They were not considered cool in JR High but I wore the tape out. I’ve listened to it occasional over the decades and it holds up well.

Pretty sure they were not made of vinyl.

This video provides some great background info on the group and the song and the era. Thanks!

Have always loved tis song with it's superb phrasing and resolution and sweet "pervy " prose .

I second that! The responses are good, the video is put together well. But I would like to know what the interviewer/biographer is saying.

such a tight performance. will last forever (despite the rather pervy lyric)

Maybe not, maybe not. If you consider now they are killing each other with bow and arrow, for nothing.😢

Man I get disappointed when I hear this on Sirius or the radio and they play the radio edit. That guitar solo is a classic

nessun brano rock piu forte di My Sharona. Una di quelle rare magie dove ogni ingrediente è al massimo livello e combinato perfettamente con l'altro. Irripetibile band
