VG10 is very easy to sharpen but doesn't take a small angle to hold long.

Thank you for your videos! My daughter and I love to watch them together. Please if you get a chance to try out and do a review of the new Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter in D2 steel. Your Dozier videos years ago introduced me to this awesome knife and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the new version in D2.

Wako thats a clear camera. Good point about creating a bur. Like when you sharpen one direction for firesteel With a file. I wonder how that would work for blades. Finishing it off in just one direction.

Hello, I don't understand how is it physically possible to keep a nice convex edge on the curved part of the knife. To keep the convex form, you have to do the pendulum move. That's not a problem for the straight part of the edge, but when you're sharpening the curved portion, at each time there is juste a very little portion of the blade on the stone. To demonstrate that, do you think you could use a sharpie to cover something like 2cm of the curved part, you let it dry and try to sharpen to see if every area of the convex form is sharpened ? Thanks !

In order to get rid of tiny micro chips or rolls which I can see without a microscope I use Shapton 1000 yellow stone which does it very quickly. In case there is nothing visible but just dullness I start with Shapton 1500 blue stone.

Not sure why you would modify / wreck a F1 like that? If you want a Fällkniven hunting knife they have plenty of other models for that purpose.
