It’s hard to trust these dogs seriously they somehow always find a way to escape even when you tie them they magically become lose if extra steps aren’t taken! And they can jump soooo high!

I have a new rescue husky and haven’t let him off leash yet! Do you think he can jump a 6ft wood fence?

@@livecalm2246 definitely, they have a high prey drive, and so much energy. My husky can jump over a wooden 6 ft fence easily when chasing raccoons and squirrels, had to make my fence taller, even after I did that, my dog still broke through the wooden fence when he smelled a loose husky outside. Even when not chasing anything it just loves escaping. The neighbors kept complaining, so now when my dogs are in my backyard I have to use a 40ft tie out cable. They can still run, but I know it would be way better for them if they were off leash . However I’ve seen people with 6ft fences keep their huskies untied, even when I’m walking on their street with my huskies, those other huskies bark at my dogs but never jump the fence . I guess they can be trained to stay in the yard, how someone is able to accomplish that is beyond my understanding. I wish my dogs were like that. Even more impressive those people who let their huskies live inside with them, house trained and everything, since these dogs like to destroy things when left alone because of separation anxiety. lol I have bought CBD relaxation gummies for dogs and that kinda helps. I wish all fences were made of cement and tall. Wooden fences just aren’t good, they fall when it’s super windy, if I had a cement fence all over my backyard it would be great, but I think they’re not allowed where I live. Also the tie out you buy has to have a safety clip, otherwise they just magically come lose, the one I bought on Amazon is made by everbrit: and it’s called colorful reflective tie out cable for heavy dog up to 125lb, 40 ft with snap safety clip. It works good for a while but eventually over time you have to keep an eye out because it starts to peel then eventually snaps because these dogs are so strong and can break them over time.
