It's bad advice being given. Crimes stopper isn't the number to call for domestic issues. Sis if you reading the comments head to your local police department. You didn't say domestic abuse was taking place, so it might be hard to obtain an order of protection or to stop him from coming around bc there are kids involved which he has parental rights. Also, most domestic shelters require a police report detailing abuse took place on this date etc. Lastly I'd say stay start looking for an family law attorney that can get you out this marriage safely and set up visitation for the father and kids.

Lastly for real, I didn't hear you all had couples therapy. I'm surprised Char didn't offer that bit have you considered therapy ( you might have). This might help understand why he's stuck while you're moving through life. Besides mental health issues, this could explain why be doesn't want to give you "up". He didn't get the memo that the person you married might not be the same person throughout the marriage. Reboots and updates like the cell phone take place throughout our life. Not a good idea to throw out the expensive phone. Just figure our how to work around the updates. I'm not saying therapy is 100% fail proof. Just make sure you've done all you can before officially pulling the trigger to divorce. Hopefully you have family or friends to lean on if it ends up divorce is what needs to happen.

If the first caller is telling the truth, I pray she leaves. Ppl always wanna say that you should stay married or together for “the children” 🙄 not taking into consideration the amount of damage the children receive because of such a horrible decision. As a child that grew up in a 2-parent household (mom & dad), that divorced when I was 18-I can honestly say they should’ve BEEN broken up when we (my siblings and I) were kids. Because they chose to stay together for us 🙄 we endured toxic and egregious arguments, fights, manipulation (from BOTH parents), being used as pawns against BOTH parents, cheating, depression, seeing adults cry themselves to sleep at night from being so miserable and unhappy. Yes, your kids witness this and yes, they UNDERSTAND what’s happening. Because I witnessed all of that at such an early age, I now have severe trust issues. I’m 33 with NO kids, probably will NEVER get married and just have a jaded mindset when it comes to “love.” Maybe if they would’ve broken up when I was 6/7 (which is when I remember things getting really bad), I would’ve been able to experience both of my parents happy and in healthy relationships…. And I would have a healthy foundation to build from, but I don’t have that. But I guess society is alright because I can say that I grew up in a 2-parent household 🙄😑😬🤨😤
