If it only special summoned a monster from hand it be fine but the field spell searching ability is why they banned since those 2 effects together is a little to good

To be fair the Thumbnail has Power Tool Dragon and don't read any further in case your not caught up with 5'DS It's actually Life Stream Dragon that's Leo's/Rua's Signer Dragon after continuous Bravery and Honor from fighting with Aporia along Jack and Luna's side but I think Kiratwig put Power Tool Dragon to not spoil it or he just doesn't care about the technicality either way his reasoning must be understandable I just wanted to point that out

Ive actually built a deck like that, its really fun. I recommend checking out TeamAPS. They did a Coin vs Dice duel video. That could help you out.

Lol dice rolling is the least supported effect in yugioh. So he'd is very limited on his choices.
