I trade live every day in the live room for complete transparency where all my trades are tracked. Im about a 55% trader in that account on average. win/loss ratio isnt that important to me though. I prefer good RR

@@JasonGraystone ah ok, your trades are tracked - could you please out them on your website outside of the paywall ?

Talking about your trades that you took perfectly can you show them trades rather than just say I’ve entered this trade or I’m currently in this trade

And ... from writing and testing algorithms ... I can tell you this is nothing more than playing with randomness .... I suspect Jason could introduce me to a good broker ... either that or he's got precognitive psychic abilities .... he may do ... I've seen other traders "pick em".

Nice! If u have 3 possible entries do u consider it to be 1 trade and split ur max trade risk (say 1%) to 3 x 1/3% for each entry or do u treat it as 3 seperate trades and place 3 x 1% entries?

hello there... here comes troll question pls can you share verified track record of profitable trading?
@carlselway63265 жыл бұрын
you will always be called a troll for not blindly accepting that people like Jason are indeed experts at trading and handing over your cash to them. I can give you my opinion; he wont share his verified track record because he isnt profitable. His income stream is charging people 250 usd a month for access to his trading room. I took up the offer of free access to his room and i have to say there was a wealth of good information for a novice trader. However none of it is truly actionable to make money in the markets, its just the standard stuff that doesnt work. However it IS a good website. Whilst i had access to the room, id watch for an hour each morning as Jason went through all the ccy charts and comment on what has happened in the past, all the time i was there he did not do one trade, of course he may have traded times when i wasnt there. I really want to come across someone who can profitably trade but sadly this guyt isnt it. Jason if you read this i am open to you showing us your results and amending my view.

12:06 this is NOT bullish divergence (price lower low + oscil. indicator higher low); it's just an abc correction move..preparing for further downings.

incorrect
@fitfun54625 жыл бұрын
I find this approach a little blunt, since there is no real objective reason beside "Its a flip level", with an area of extension to its prior high/low. Within this "Setup" are very specific marker for entries, but even more important is what price did after the break and before returning to the actual flip area. IF you do not consider from where price bounced back up to the any level, there is no point in taking a trade, no matter where an entry is aimed to be made. Its actually visible in the example at 7 mins in. The initial entry has already happened at the time of your analysis. The trade is already over and you are now messing around somewhere above, without being aware of the actual next objective entry, justifying it with some patterns named after animals. Fibonacci retracements are nothing but imagination. There is no correlation between Fibonacci sequences and financial markets whatsoever. I mean, it rationally doesn't add up, but also scientifically. I random drawn horizontal line is just as good as fibonacci retracements. The result over a bigger sample size is basically the same. I dont get how a "trader" but also supposed mentor does that, explaining trades based on these imaginary biased measures. You should know better, especially from the interviews with Mike from SMB. I mean, how long have you been trading and you still stuck trading 0.2 lots? One of the most scalable business models, yet you seem barely scaling anything as a result of your performance and available capital. Thats not representative of being efficient and profitable. Your capital invested per transaction mostly seems like, that you are not even trading above the $100.000 mark after all these years. How can feel good about putting yourself into a mentor role, while being a complete amateur, not only per definition, but also performance.

no "secret sauce" here, just a basic pullback strategy i can find by googling "forex pullback strategy". this is how 99% of traders trade, and 99% blow their accounts. and second, how often does the market make perfect trends like the ones you're displaying. im glad you're successful with it, but its common information, and its not how i trade.

Basic to an experienced trader no doubt, but novice traders like myself need to see the modus operandi of finding entry points into trend continuation trades. Thumbs north from me.
@TheArtOfTrading5 жыл бұрын
What do you expect from a free youtube video? In any case, myself and a few of my trading buddies trade basic trend-continuation pullbacks exclusively and we all do pretty well. So don't underestimate the power of simplicity. My trading days are so easy sometimes it feels like stealing. It's really easy to create alert indicators and scripts for detecting these kinds of setups, minimizing your screentime by up to 90%. I actively trade intraday timeframes every day consistently profitably and I spend no more than 2 hours looking at charts on average because my strategy is so damn simple a monkey could execute it. My scripts pick up any valid trades that set up, and my trading plan could fit on a napkin. A ten year old could understand what I'm doing. Anyone with self-discipline and an understanding of risk management could copy my strategy successfully with minimal trading experience. There's no need for sophistication and complexity in your strategies to make good money out of the markets. In my experience it's better to trade smarter, not harder!

This is mere speculation, a bad behavior to avoid.
@JasonGraystone5 жыл бұрын
Yep Trading is speculation. 100% correct
@TheArtOfTrading5 жыл бұрын
It's true this is speculation, but not necessarily true that it's behavior to avoid unless you lack the discipline to control your risk or the capital to start speculating properly. With a maximum loss of 1% per trade you need to be a pretty terrible speculator to have any catastrophic problems arise. Especially if you only trade 1% of 10% of your total equity!
