12:17 Oh, how very convenient. If it doesn't work, it's your own fault, because you didn't believe strongly enough. One of the oldest tricks in the book... Please don't fall for it. I get that you are very religious, and that's fine. However, this line of "reasoning" crosses a line! It can be psychologically harmful, preventing people from dealing with their problems, getting into depression etc. I guess that when you said that, you didn't think it through, didn't consider those implications, and if you did, you wouldn't have said it.

The fire with one log is called "Schwedenfeuer" (sweden fire). It is very popular for parties and such, as it is contained and "self-feeding": It burns from the inside out and once the side pieces are thin enough, they fall towards the middle, where they fuel the fire further. Gospel forum is great... been there a couple of times myself.

A Finn here. Must say that do not know where Germans get that name. It is commonly known as a ”Finnish log torch” aka ”Jätkänkynttilä”. Legend says that it was inventend in Finnish Lapland city of Rovaniemi. On that city there is for example a bridge that has a name after that log torch...

@@mitro72 According to wikipedia, it is so named, because the swedish soldiers during the 30 years war used these to warm and light their camps. man i enjoy your vids and its very entertaining how you and your sisters visit/see my country. you are also a sympathetic and open guy.. i have to say as far as i can see, since your content is basically about tourism and meeting the german culture (which is so cool and interesting to watch because of your kinda cute and curious approach) its so weird to hear your preachings at the end. please keep in mind that many people in germany are not religious at all. and there are reasons why those people left the church or pretend to go there or just cant relate to those preachings from a christian point of view. I think religion is sth kept for yourself because what you believe is at the same time sth what may can separate us and many ppl in germany thinks so too.

I love your videos. And you seem to be a verry kind person. But the lecture at the end seemed a bit weird to me. Especially because you didn't visit a church with a normal priest but this guy talking in an event hall. And the thing, that faith could cure physical suffering at 11:44 was quite odd, too. I might be too warily here. I don't know.

Conner is part of those weird extreme Evangelicals that many people from Europe would call "Sekte". But where he's from this shit is actually quite normal tbh.😂😅

Well what is a normal "priest". You know what Jesus said "Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;..."

@@ungeimpfterrusslandtroll7155 Someone with a degree in theology, appropriate training and subsequent ordination to the priesthood. Such self-proclaimed preachers, which can basically preach anything, that come to their mind and suits them, have already pulled enough money out of peoples pockets, fanaticized them or worse. I don't want to blame this particular guy for teaching anything wrong - obviously, I don't know him, he's probably ok. I would just be careful.

@@nonvalid962 Now where is that in the Bible? There are many false religous authorities and i'm not defending the kind of church as above because it's also unbiblical.

@@ungeimpfterrusslandtroll7155 I didn't claim to base my argumentation on the bible. I don't care which religious organisations are closest to the bible, as well (and who defines that) . I only care, which organisations are harmful for people and society and which are acceptable.
