Yeah I've seen some really weird battery placements that don't make sense to me! But maybe easier than having to buy a shoulder rig kit just to get a special part 😂

Hi! Great video! There are many reports on blownout HDMI camera port in case camera and monitor are powered from the same v-mount battery. Any help on that?

Can I mount the SSD holder also without a rig cage directly to the BMPCC 6k Pro?

You’d still need something like a cold shoe mount attached to the top mounting point of the camera

I don’t think it’s a cold shoe but a screw and some kind of special connector. Just get a Smallrig 1241 amzn.to/3V9g7v3 or a Smallrig 2797 amzn.to/3gnuqNN and attach it to the top 1/4” screw that’ll give you a cold shoe mounting point.

You have the SmallRig BMPCC6K Cage SR2203B? You have the normal (older) 6K and not the 6K Pro/6K G2 right?

@@AnotherCameraChannel yes I have the older one! The cage is 1mm shorter. The screw mount on the upper part of the camera is stopping it from fitting. But I saw on your video it fits smoothly.

That's very strange, it should fit. 1mm off is strange. Could it be defective you think? It's not bent out of shape just enough not to fit?
