Thanks for sharing Keith. Welcome to the path of self-sufficiency. Its takes time to climb the learning curve, but it soon gives way and you learn like a run away snowball on a hill.

Very nice for a small set up. And you are right, there is some math involved in solar. Its ok. Nothing to tough. I started 4 years ago with a Harbor Freight 100 solar kit, 750w inverter and a Duracell 100ah agm battery. I got 2 of the Harbor Freight 100w panels and connected it through the hub to the controller. Added 3 more batteries and that started my journey. 4 years later I have 1200w of solar, 400ah of lithium batteries and a 1000w inverter. Theres alot of components in my system now. As for my 100w kit and agm batteries. They found a new home at my best friend's house. Your build is your own. Keep it simple, but keep it safe. Your definitely going to need thicker cable on your inverter to the battery bank. As a thought. Have at least 100ah of battery capacity per 1000w of inverter. And 200-300w of solar per 100ah of battery.

Lead acid I think would be safer than lithium (get lifepo4 if you get lithium) but should be OK as long as your wire isze is big enough. If you run large loads very long check the lug temp, bad connections can get hot.

Yeah batteries are the expensive part. Can really sink a lot of money into those if you want to. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍

You really need a remote mic. I can't hardly hear what you are saying.... The setup on the wall looks nice and I was hoping to get some ideas from you. Maybe just my bad ears?

Sorry! I agree. I've tried one but no success. Need to try another!

So true. Looks expensive and a lot of trouble if you are like me and don't need it. It would never pay for itself. Would be very nice in a power outage situation. Great if you have a legit use for it. So tempting from a fun technology angle.

Absolutely! In a lot of cases it's a luxury or a hobby.!
