Was my first time in FL too! Just visited Naples! The Gulf water is out of this world.

I grew up in Ft. Myers! This was so fun to see. My dad was a boat captain that took folks out on tours and to some of the boat-only accessible islands. Highly recommend sunset dolphin tours! So glad you made it to the Edison-Ford Estate--such a cool area. I hope you're able to make it back to Florida some time. I went to college in Tampa which is only a couple hours North of Ft. Myers and St. Pete beaches are lovely. Great Cuban food. There are also some gorgeous natural springs to kayak. A few hours South you can see Miami and go to the Everglades and Keys. You should definitely, definitely go see the Everglades at some point! I've been within feet of an alligator down there and the wildlife is so cool to see.

Hello Allison!! I love your videos. I even made a reaction video on your Germany video and I hope that you watch it as I gave you a great kudo. I am from Florida originally and glad that you made it there. I love swimming with the manatees in Jan when it is really cold but you see so many manatees. If you are ever in Florida and would like to swim with the manatees I will be more than happy to show you around. I love Sanibel, Ft. Meyers, and the Captiva Islands. Sanibel Island is where my wife and I had our honeymoon fifteen years ago. BTW, you have amazing video and drone work skills. Thanks for sharing and have safe travels :).

You forgot the AHMAZING shelling (collecting shells). Nothing like it!!! And that the water is warmish in parts of the water because you are on the Gulf of Mexico and when the two meet it creates the change in temp. Also there are a ton of “noseeums” which are basically a cross between a Miskito and a sand flea and the best thing to use to keep them from biting is skin so soft from Avon. Hahaha I love Florida so very much but captiva and Sannibel have a piece of my heart
