Getting here (I'm from Namibia) might be a bit pricey, but Namibia itself is quite inexpensive if you're okay without the 5 star experience ☀️

So naughty! Especially because you can easily drive from SA. Even if you do Southern Namibia with Fish River, Luderitz and Mariental, lots to see and the petrol is WAY cheaper than in SA!

What an amazing experience and I was so in awe the whole time. I actually got a bit teary eyed when I saw the footage of the leopards-that seems to be such a rare sighting. I live in Africa :) Yes, it is dangerous, but it's really not as bad as everyone says it is. I think tourists put themselves more at risk, though, by walking around with expensive cameras, etc. I'd recommend trying to blend in as much as possible and keeping expensive things out of sight when you're not using them. Don't make yourself an unnecessary target ☀️

@@jbrunasa I am a Namibian, I'll say 80% of the robberies happen in the city, and since there are not so many good places for tourists to explore in the city it's not advisable to last long in the city. The remote areas and small towns are safer. And one thing I have realized if you rent a car which doesn't have a rental company decal on it, people might think you're just a citizen since our country has the second largest white population in Africa and citizens are not likely to be targeted unless they have seen some valuables on you

When there’s nothing but fresh air, early mornings and early nights, you get rejuvenated even if you are on the road. Extremely relaxing country, especially cause most of these places have pools too so a mid day swim is a win!

I recently visited Namibia and was surprised to see how many people come to Namibia to see animals and not take time to know the indigenous beautiful people. Your video is awesome, but I recommend learning the history of the people and save money by visiting national parks over private game lodges owned by wealthy Europeans.
