I was born and still live in Savannah and I honestly still have not seen all of its wonders. But there are still some shady areas..... Usually the temperature is even higher than 70 degrees, especially during the summer. I must say the Girl Scouts is not really that important to the city, especially if you go to The Islands

Yes, we get more movie stars in Savannah than KZbinrs. And I'm surprised there was no mention of the movie that started it all...Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I would say Glory, but only the Boston scenes were filmed in Savannah.

It’s so cool when youtubers come to our city and film it. I love seeing Savannah through the eyes of someone who isn’t a local. The Forrest Gump bench was actually in the square for a while after the movie came out but people were chipping pieces off of it so it is inside of the museum on MLK blvd now. We have a lot of movies filmed in this area. Also, Savannah is super haunted. You would have a hard time finding someone who has worked downtown or lived downtown that doesn’t have a ghost story to tell. Glad you enjoyed your trip! 💕

As a beginning solo traveller from Europe who has never been outside the continent, these vlogs are so inspiring! At first i wasn't so much into USA because this giant nation gave me kind of a bombastique and too overwhelming impression. Idk if I would feel very comfortable in a GIANT city like New York. But then I see these less obvious US destinations and they are much more appealing to me.

You missed out on Fort Pulaski. It's a civil war fort and a national monument. You can even see the shells still imbedded in the outer wall. It was on the way out to Tybee. Plus Bonaventure cemetery, the waving girl statue and the story behind it and the old savannah tours talking about all the cool history here including the great savannah fire in 1796 that burned down half the city. Not to mention some of the famous restaurants like the Pirate House, Paula Dean's restaurant, the Crab Shack and the Olde Pink House Restaurant.

I am originally from Columbus Ga and reside in the Atlanta area. I never really thought about Ga having a coast line, but Savannah made me look at ga in a different light. In my opinion Savannah and the surrounding areas represent the heart of tourism in ga. This video was great and I want to see more of it and maybe retire there one day. Savannah is the crown jewel of ga and many have tried to duplicate it, but can't.

Amazing video from a region that I've come to love so much. As a teenager, my family relocated to Georgia from the Northeast, and I hated the idea of living in the South. But I ended up at college in South Carolina and came to love that area, especially the lazy beaches. I am living on the West Coast now, and the beaches are just not the same. The laid back summers on Tybee or Jekyll can't be beat.

They actually moved the bench into a museum because they didn’t want it to get damaged from bad weather!! I live right next to Savannah and it truly is an amazing city!! There are so many hidden gems you’ll have to check out next time you’re back!

I loved your video of your travels. I love Savannah. I live an hour northeast off I-16 in Metter GA but I love to go to Savannah. Jones Street is beautiful like your video showed. It was nice to see your pictures. I just wish your video was longer!

My family went to visit friends in Savannah when I was 7 or 8. I remember getting attacked by birds (seagulls I think) at the beach. I was wearing a coat made of a fabric with small fuzzy colored specks and I guess that coat looked delicious because they came at me to peck my coat all over. 😅It was a very Hitchcock moment.

My husband and I love Savannah and Charleston. The Plant Riverside Hotel is going to be the next big thing there - but doesn’t open til November (plus my husband designed the structure for it :) Thanks for highlighting such a cool city.
