I started off on the Island of San Cristobal for a few days before heading off on a small ship cruise around the southeastern islands to see some of the most incredible marine life of my life.

Swimming with a sea turtle in the Caribbean was such a highlight for me. I waited for hours to find one and just as I was leaving a small private island in Nassau, I finally found one. Turtles are one of my favorite animals, Such a peaceful animal. We can all learn so much from them.

Wow, what a place! I’m with you, I think it’s so great that the Ecuadorian people have protected this area and continue to do so. Fantastic video of the Galapagos. Great scenery under water and above, and a good way to explore is on that cruise ship. This is one of my favorite videos. Once you got on boat and island it was total immersion. I can't get enough of wild life, sea experience, marine animals. The cruise. I'm glad you filmed so much of the animals. That makes sense considering your unique environment. Darwin is proud of you. He could have never known that someday there would be a superwoman using electronics to film the animals he was observing and sketching, and her film would be instantly shared around the world. Walking on beach with animals there. Swimming and snorkeling with sea life. Your video was great. Walking right past the giant sea lion lounging. When I lived in southern California, we'd go seaside and hang with the seals a lot, so this video brought me back to the experience. 👍. Hope you get your postcard from an interesting person who can share Galapagos stories with you.

Alice, this was wonderful! You had a nicer boat than we did 20 years ago-that one was illegally modified and was hence top heavy. So about a 1/2 year after our amazing trip on it the captain made a bad move, which capsized and it sank... Another boat picked everyone up after soaking in the ocean for a few hours.

I am a serious scuba diver but I don't think to jump right it just only for diving in Galapagos would be a smart choice because on land has so much to offer and I would love to see them all. I went the last week of February. For scuba diving you will need to go from land before or after your cruise or book a liveaboard the cruises do not offer scuba diving only snorkeling
