My SON Comes To Work With Me!

This week I said goodbye to the Hyundai HX140. I shifted my Kubota KX080-4 to a new job and started and completed it, using Graeme in his tractor and trailer and 2 tipper trucks. Finished the week taking my wee boy out in the lorry with me to pick up the Takeuchi and take it to a new job and then to the Christmas tractor run at night.

Really enjoy your videos Amy and nice to see little Johnny out with his mum, he's a lovely little chap. Reminds me of my own childhood on the farm down here in Somerset. If Graham's anything like me he'll be spending his money on tools and kit he needs, a really good pair of worm work boots or gloves is always nice, the sort of thing he wouldn't buy himself. I think you said you've known each a long time so a more personal thing would be a framed montage of photos from childhood up until now. We're quite simple beasts so, depending on both of you're personal lives, a good meal over Xmas is always nice. Doesn't have to be homemade just something you know he likes and plenty of it, maybe lunch time with the children as well then you can all maybe go for a walk or play some games. I know that sounds a bit weird but like I say we're simple creachers and you can't buy a thoughtful gift like that. Finally one of nicest things a female friend did for me was get me a small bunch of flowers, that might just be me but it was 30 years ago and I still think of it from time to time. Anyway Amy keep up the good work and the training and a Merry Christmas to you and all your family. Ps I hope you can hide these messages so Graham can't read them! 🤫

Great to see your son out with you Amey. The younger they start the better. I was out with my father on his mobile butchers round at that age, knocking on doors and picking up orders for him to cut.
