Firstly, I am praying for your son and your family. Secondly, my younger sister was diagnosed with M.S. more than 12 years ago. She had the lesions on the brain, etc...the good news is she had the treatment for m.s. and is symptom free some twelve years later. So don't lose hope...medicine has really advanced in this area.

Taz, your Son will be fine, I just feel it. My 27 year old Son is also in the Air Force and they are family so know that when you've returned home he will have brothers and sisters surrounding him. You have a very lucky boy! I've lost 2 friends, both experienced and prepared riders. As for the lesions, I personally had a similar experience with having an MRI for another reason and finding abnormalities. After multiple visits to the #1 Neurologist and spinal tap, I was told that I met most of the criteria for MS. But, my doc said if it was formally diagnosed I would have a terrible time getting insurance. That was over 20 years ago. So far, no MS symptoms. My story is like many others. As a Mother, no words will ease your heart and head. Just know that we are all each others angels and your Son is so very fortunate to have you and the means to get such great medical care. You are an amazing person, loving and caring Mother. Take care of yourself too. This experience can completely drain your immune system, so take extra care!

As a mom I can see and feel your fear and shock. My heart is just full for you and your young man. Believe everything will be alright. Your son has a supportive family and group of friends that will help things along. While helping your child heal you must also be sure to take care of YOU. Eat well, get enough rest, stay hydrated. Let me share this: I work with two young men (one late 30s, one early 40s) who have been diagnosed with MS. Today's medical treatments for MS are nothing short of miraculous, and both my co-workers live full and healthy lives. The younger of the two recently became a Dad for the first time! Stay positive and know your child WILL get through this. Love you.

I am so sorry you are going through this. On May 9th of this same year my son was hit by a large truck and almost lost his leg. If not for the quick actions of others he would have bled out. He could not call for help himself because his phone was in 3 pieces. I can't say I can fully relate to the possibility of a diagnosis of Ms at all, but I can tell by the exhaustion in your voice how difficult this is for you. I saw your later video first and came back to this one. With COVID about to hit, needing further hospital treatment is about to become a real nightmare. Please keep us posted and I will pray that he recovers from this.🙏

I want to say you have so much wisdom with your attitude about things happening for a reason. My neck was broken and I sustained head trauma (lots of scars upstairs- this is why I wearing wigs). Tax, I know exactly what you’re all going through. In 1994 I went through all the tests that you mentioned plus a mylogram I had 6 lesions on my brain and was eventually diagnosed with MS. About 5 years later I found myself confined to a hospital bed and wheelchair/power scooter. But I’m still doing as much as I possibly can. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻❤️.
