Please don’t change a thing Steve! I like to go back and look at your mom‘s videos for recipes and things like that all of the time and sometimes when I get sad that she’s gone I like to go back and “visit“ with her. Also I love your Sunday devotionals I watch this in conjunction with my sermons online and it just is such a lovely start to my week. I’ve enjoyed your videos of cooking and travels, the fishing in the Indian Ocean was amazing. I saw so much of this country I could never see, all thanks to you! I know I and people my age, tend to finally reach the stage of finding joy. I no longer want things, clothes, homes, furniture, cars, etc. I want family time, better heath after a bad scare, but not physical things. You will bring back lots of great memories, this is what I enjoy now. I think we all reach that point in our life, take joy in family, friends, God’s beautiful world, birds, flowers, trees, etc. This brings peace and joy to me. My grown children and husband haven’t reached that time yet. They still like things, but that will change I’m sure. Have a safe trip home, I know you lovely wife will be waiting and take all your memories with you to share with your family! It’s been amazing for me to be able to see your like there. I always try to counsel young married couples about having a joyful heart even when things are tough. I been married for 50 years and I can look back and see that the troublesome times were the times that made ours marriage stronger. We talked more, leaned on each other more and prayed together more during those times and it made those times better and easier to find happiness even in hard circumstances.

Thank you for another video. You have a wonderful life with the journey you are on. We pray that your trip going home goes great and without too many hiccups. If I only had this, only had that then I could do this and then that. We have all gotten on that carnival ride. The thing God does is, in my humble opinion, is that He shows us that just being here in this moment is enough. Just breathing in and out is great and a blessing. I have been on a ventilator three times in my life. Believe me, some thing so basic can become every thing to you in a instant. If only I could get off this machine, then I would be happy. Everyone who happens to read this, just take a moment right now. Stop. Breathe in and out. What a blessing. Remember how God loves you. No matter where you are or how much money you make. Love each other. That is your JOY for today! We love you Stephen and pray for you while your new transition evolves into a new life. Please take us with you. God bless you Col. Stephen! Prayers for travel mercies! Yes, the Joy of the Lord is my strength. Recently I pondered that it is the Joy OF the Lord, not the joy FROM the Lord! When Jesus is IN us, His Joy then flows from us. Like you said, hoping for something (like cookware lol!) outside ourselves to bring joy into our lives doesn't cut it ( new knife set- lol), whereas Jesus IN us fills us to overflowing with His joy, which is not dependent upon circumstances. When I had cancer and radiation, it was not fun, but when people asked why I still had Joy, I just told them cancer was just another speed bump on the road of life. My ultimate destination is AWESOME! Amen! Glad you will continue these Sunday devotionals! Fly safely into the arms of the RMR! A good marriage is a blessing from God! Hey! I don’t comment much, because I watch on my tv all the time and there’s no way to type a comment…but sometimes I just HAVE to say something!! Oh, my gosh..that Navy Seal story and just climb that rock. THAT’S THE ONLY WAY I EVER QUIT SMOKING!!! In 2013!! One day I just thought…don’t WORRY about “quitting smoking”…just don’t smoke one cigarette you’re thinking about smoking! And one cigarette became two, etc!! AND IT WORKED!! I’ve told so many people who asked how I did it, but I’m not sure they got it…I just love watching you…and this past week I watched about a dozen of your Mom’s videos…her apple dumplings, some other recipies, her last one, and I cried. I truly loved her and Bucky too..and you doing this is so awesome that you carry it on…Thank you SO much

Spending time in person with those we love is precious. So many memories to add to those we already cherish! I was watching a channel and thought of you! I don’t know the specifics of the required schedule. Home bases but a few of the carriers I noted were DHL. Amazon, FedEx, UPS. Perhaps one of these companies would be a good fit. Awesome words today Steven. That is a huge point. "If you are not happy now, how will you be happy when you get your heart's desire?" That's really deep! Interesting that The RMR wanted Calphalon instead of Le Creuset. For me it, it was Descoware. It's hard to find and only comes up at Estate Sales and it too, is pretty pricey. Do I actually use it? No.....it's very heavy. I do break it out on special occasions. Getting the cookware I wanted, did not result in me cooking more. I guess I look at it as an investment. The older I get, the harder it will be to cook with. I will have to seek and find someone like me, who desires vintage cookware and make them a sweet deal! LoL Wishing you a safe journey home.
