This makes me feel a little better with my new hobby of finding special editions. I just started reading again last year so I'm behind on everything. So when I want a special edition that came out a year ago...I have to spend $$ to get it from someone. But it makes me happy looking at my little bookshelf and I can't wait to see it grow. And now I'm a subscriber to Fairyloot and Illumicrate so I can get new books when it releases for the actual prices lol.

I do love seeing what special editions other people own! There are so many pretty editions being created by so many companies and publishers, and I am here for it since I’m such a huge book collector. You definitely have a stunning collection 🥰 I will be yelling about how Tower of Dawn is excellent and was an integral part of the TOG series foreeeeeverrrrrrr. And I will forever hold out hope that Macky and I will magically be able to acquire the Waterstones rune edition of Lady Midnight 😍🤞🏼

So many pretty editions 💖 can’t wait for the other videos in the series. It’s interesting that the English bookmarket seems to do special editions quite regularly and normally. At least that what it seems like. The German market seems to be totally different. Maybe some anniversary editions for big books but it’s quite rare for a „normal“ book to have a special edition or a limited edition. But maybe that’s just my perception from when I go to bookstores and I may be just not so into that sphere here. 😂

I got the special edition of Lost Book of the White, and I so badly want to get Red Scrolls of Magic, but I don't know whether it's out of print or not - I feel like it might be - and all the second-hand copies I see are like $500+. As for boxed sets, it usually depends on how easily the books can come out of the box. If it's not too hard, I leave them in.
