There's something about experiences as a third year - the first seizure I witnessed, being pooped on for the first time, seeing the death of the second patient I had, witnessing patient relatives decide to take their loved one off a ventilator - all within one week mind you. I feel like studying for STEP 1 NEVER prepared me for this and these experiences will never leave you. These moments shape you and I thought I made it through the trenches after STEP 1. Man, was I wrong. Hang in there dude, been following you since the beginning and I'm proud with how far you've come!

Haha stay tuned ;) You are absolutely right. We also learned a lot of the diseases but real life management is far different than learning it from a book or lecture. I love clerkships sooooooooo much. Actually getting to see patients and interact with them and their family in their sick form is such an interesting experience every time. Thank you for the support! STEP 1 feels like it means NOTHING now lol. so weird
