Which do you prefer: Desperation or The Regulators? I love to hear people on opposite sides debate this endlessly. There's a serious division there with some readers.

Re-reading ‘Salem’s Lot. Just realised how much of a masterpiece it is after not reading it for a while. I’ve only actually got the newer Hodder & Stoughton published versions, so you’re more of an experienced collector. 😂👍

'Salem's Lot is amazing. It is my favorite Stephen King book that I have read, so far anyway lol. If you haven't already you should read Night Shift as it has two short stories in it that take place in 'Salem's Lot. Also I wouldn't consider myself an experienced collector haha. All my books have come from used bookstores.

I love Mike Flanagan, and Stephen King has also praised him a lot. I just wish Flanagan would handle more King adaptations

@@BradProctorReads Bag of Bones is a really good ghost story, that's a bit of an oversimplification, but I don't wanna reveal anything else about it. Given Flanagan's work on Hill House, I think he could do Bag of Bones justice

I actually really liked Dreamcatcher. I had heard a bunch of negative stuff about it but decided to go ahead and read it a couple of months ago and loved it. I could not put it down. I kind of get why some people might not like it given the "shit weasels" and all the stuff about farts but I liked it. I just finished Revival and really enjoyed it as well. Was not expecting that ending. Anyway, thanks for sharing your collection. Like you, I just started collecting his books about a year ago and have all of them but 9. I have a bunch of them in paperback but, again like you, I've been buying them at thrift stores, library sales and places like that. I am currently reading Salem's Lot which I just started. Thanks again for sharing and best of luck getting the rest of his books for your collection. Stay safe and healthy and happy reading and collecting!

I know this will sound weird to some people and to some they will sadly know where I'm coming from. Stephen King saved my sanity as a teenager. When i read his books i could leave my horrible home life for a few chapters at a time. If I'm honest more than a few chapters at a time. But i digress. When people talk about his drug/alcohol abuse. He's human. Mr. King is the one who told us He had a problem. He's overcome His addictions and is a better man for it. Also from what i see and hear His kids are well adjusted human beings. Be like Stephen King!
