I just finished my first round of chemo. Breast cancer also. DCIS and invasive ductal carcinoma that spread to my nipple. Had a lumpectomy nipple removed and 5 lymph modes removed. All nodes were negative but then found out my onchotype score was a 40.....anything over 26 gets chemo. So taxotere and cytoxan were chosen. So far that 1st one kicked my ass for sure. Had to give myself udencya shot. Did ok with that but I religiously took the claritin and it helped tremendously with bone pain. I hardly had any. Took zofran also round the clock and that kept the nausea away. Had diarrhea at first now I am constipated oh and I also had the bad stomach pains for about 3 days. Nit sure what caused that. Thanks for sharing your story. It's nice to know there are ppl out there who understand what I am going through. I wish u the best and good luck!!!

Great to hear your experience! My wife (Amanda- 37) is going through her first chemo round now. She is on day 15 and is doing well. She is her2 also and is experiencing the bad stomach issues(I think it's the perjeta that is causing it). How are you now and has your stomach returned to normal? Also is there anything else you would add to this after another year has past?

Your story is important. I just finished 4 A/C and now I have 4 Taxols. My experience was like yours but no nausea or bone pain with A/C. The steroids got to me mentally though. God bless you.
