Dear Evelina, I really rarely write comments but after now must… I remember watching your Fashion Cafés over plain pasta in a shitty apartment in Hungary, and feeling so connected to you.. we are approximately the same age, both grown up in Eastern Europe in the post communist era, divorced parents, a teacher mom.. And yet you were living the dream. You gave us hope! This video of yours found me in a beautiful apartment in England where I am home, safe, happy, healthy and abundant. You have a part in that. I am so extremely grateful for creators like you who held the torch and showed the way for us.. Never underestimate your own power. Thank you for everything. Love, Annavirág

@@alonestar1307 We’re talking about people who are are mostly from poor and oppressed countries. The US has taken 100x more of these people than any other country. Sweden is fine, even great, but generally steers it’s immigrants into ghetto communities like Malmo and gives them handouts so they can stay poor and unmotivated. The US has been a beacon of opportunity for immigrants for centuries because if you work hard and become a real American. No immigrant to Sweden can ever truly be Swedish. Maybe that’s the difference.

Separating yourself from your content/and or only allowing a taste of who you are to people to protect yourself when it comes to developing relationships and connecting with people (especially parasocial relationships which are already interesting/difficult to go about) is completely understandable. I hope this new vulnerability helps you to rebuild a community here that you feel good about and connected to, and that it helps you make content you are proud of that has a lot of soul or life to it. Damn Evelina, I started crying after you told the story about Troy (sorry if it's spelled wrong, haha). It's such a beautiful story what happened to you, and I want to thank you so much for telling it. I think a lot of people could benefit from hearing a story like yours. I actually looked up to you a lot before I moved abroad as well (I live in Korea now) because it was amazing to see how you were able to move to a different country, learn the language fluently, adapt to the culture, and manage to become successful at such a young age. As an American living abroad for something like 6 years now, I've gained a lot of perspective on what life is like in different parts of the world, and it's nice to see how humble you are and also how much you appreciate the opportunities and experiences you've had. You've already accomplished so much in your life already and I really wish the best for you going forward. Love you and stay successful~

Coming to America definitely pushed me to want more out of my life. Fr tho The thermostat is locked 😂 bruh I figured out how to move the thing w a Bobby pin but had to keep it a secret from the floor leaders 😂😂😂 I moved back to Pensacola in 2017-2021 (July) and got to host international students for holidays even though we had nothing to do w the school. They started doing a bus system for everyone to do grocery runs and finally put fridges in the dorms so sometimes I could get things for the Japanese students 🖤 I live in Vegas now and absolutely love it. I am 56 years old and used to be into techno back in the 80's. And I used to love to dance in the clubs in New Orleans area. So I wanted to learn shuffle dance. I searched and it was your video. I fell in love with your character and attitude. Totally enjoyed it and got me into KZbin. It is a fundamental part of me being here. Thanks.

So proud of you. Listening to you is like hearing my own life story. I grew up in Ukraine and just like you got so inspired by meeting Americans that my dream was to go to school here. I moved about 10 years ago and can’t be happier.

Very inspiring story Evelina! Been a subby since your season change videos haha. Thank you for sharing. I encourage you to reconnect your relationship with God again as you are where you are because of Him. Also, you light up when you talk about orphans, I wonder if that’s something you see yourself doing in the future. Xo
