Great story telling my son was diagnosed with type 1 as well when is was around 15. He learned to live with it and finally got into a better place in life. Wish I was able to do something like this when my kids were younger you and your family are fortunate ones for sure so for now I will live through y'all.

I'm ambivalent to all of your content creation. On the one hand I think it's admirable that your parents gave up everything to spend time with their family and live this exotic amazing life. But I have a problem finding it relatable and I think most people would. We can live vicariously through you but the only thing I take from it is the divide of the privilege you had versus the poverty I grew up in with an alcoholic father with sexual predidation issues. I suffer from severe PTSD among other things. I would have been happy to just be in one place and feel safe while all of you seek the thrill and adventure of life. It's interesting I'm not going to chastise you for being dealt the quite favorable cards that you have. I hope you recognize your privilege and how this is not the norm nor how most Americans live. I think your brother is great I watch his channel and I think it's good that he's trying to create his own niche. I said to him once,why are you always on the go going everywhere when you have this beautiful little cabin in Northern Canada? That's where I'd want to stay. The only problem with this nomad existence is sometimes you get restless because you've seen everything I think the greater gift is finding the beauty and the little things and that's where I think I'm at an advantage. Good luck to you and your family I know this seems like a backhanded compliment but I'm happy for you I just hope you realize that selling perfection and beautiful views when the world is falling apart feels a little disingenuous. I feel too many KZbinrs try to present a perfect ideal of how life should be when no one's life is like that.

Man my wife and I love your families channel also your brothers and now yours. I am a type 1 juvenile diabetic of 45 plus years. Stay strong. I have found out talk8ng to other diabetics seem to help me, if you ever need to just complain I would love to help. Sometimes it just helps to talk to others that face the same thing everyday.
