Hoping you guys find your way back one of these days! My family grew up in Borrego so if you need secret spots I've got them for you. The statue area you drove through is galleta meadows and was a partnership between sculptor Ricardo Breceda and local philanthropist Dennis Avery (of the Avery label fame). Unfortunately Mr. Avery passed away a few years ago but his estate provides for that land and new statues which characterize the history (both real and mythical) of the area.

Very cool to see you guys in my back yard, I grew up riding out there. endless trails and awesome places to explore. That sand gets a lot of those bigger bikes, you guys handle it great.
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
One of our favourite places to explore so far! It was a learning curve in the deep sand but tons of fun. Thanks for watching!

Awesome videos. It’s been cool to watch EFRT, TAG, and The Story Till now to see different perspectives. But, 6 Jeeps and a Gladiator 😡! It’s still a Jeep!! Lol I love my Gladiator but also enjoyed my Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Pretty sure daughter is going the bike route but she’s only 6 so still on little bike. She loves watching you guys.

Your riding is showing growth in confidence with these heavy rides in soft terrain. The sand/loose gravel mixture was quite deep in many of this canyons. Have you added some new filter techniques to your edit process? Seems like the color quality was different/better!

Beautiful ride guys! Absolutely love that area. Pete what is your “hat” made of? I wanna “reshape” that poor thing so bad lol. 😂 I hand shaped western hats for a local store when I was younger and when I see one getting a little of sorts I just wanna fix it. 🥴 Anyway, nice video fellas, ride on!!
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It’s an Akubra hat which I believe is made from rabbit fur. It’s been a struggle to keep it in a place where it won’t be crushed. It would be great if I had your skills.😅
@TheGraytOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@adventureguysofficial I can imagine it’s a bit tight in the Jeep and trying to find a “spot” would be slightly complicated. “Steam” is the secret to shaping (and having a eye for it helps😉😃) and NEVER lay it down flat on the brim. Always turn it upside down and let it set on its crown. If you can find a spot😂. Well, if you ever get into the colonial areas of Virginia - Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, maybe I can take care of that hat for you and take you guys as well as the family on a two wheeled tour of those areas. Keep up the good work and by all means “Have Fun”!

I know on a vehicle less tread is better on sand, is that true on a bike?

paper filter for dusty desert riding 🤦♂. Get twin air or uni foam filters with oil on it before you kill that engine
@stevej71392 жыл бұрын
I would say the same since that's what I did back when I rode a 250R three wheeler , foam and oil but back then a long weekend might be a 5 day desert trip and you're back home where you tear it down and clean everything so it's ready for the next trip . These guys don't have the luxury of tearing it apart after 5 days of riding since they live on the road for the most part so I can cut them some slack for the paper filters , in their shoes I would probably do the same .
@adventureguysofficial2 жыл бұрын
We want to get either the Rade garage aux fuel kit which changes the intake to use foam filters not to mention the added 1.5 gallons of fuel. Our other option is the Rottweiler performance intake kit for the 690 with the Power Commander V for new mapping. Just got to pay for it first. 😅
@mototrailz2 жыл бұрын
@@adventureguysofficial if you rottweiler which is the best airfilter you will need to remap
