Great video! How do you guys like the 690s for that kind of riding? Are they hard to pick up if you have to?

Hey Peter, its amazingly beautiful and so quiet, I’m not a yachtsman but wow I’d be hanging over the side🤢😂lol, my guts wouldn’t handle to well with the motion of the boat unless it’s a canoe or kayak lol. Thank you for sharing with us, take care and stay safe and enjoy your sailing adventures, kiwiNZfamz❤😊

Peter sorry been missing out on these, for some reason I am not getting notifications. Man that sunrise was epic!!!! So so beautiful! The creator blessed you with an amazing environment to explore. My vote for a name for the autopilot would be Otto. Little obvious lol but it is spelled in the German name. Glad Dan and you had a great overnight adventure. Great you took "logger" Dan on the sea haha. I like your information on freeze dry foods. Like you I am a map nerd. I could spend hours looking over Google maps but best of all are the old paper maps. I am more of a dry lander but someday I will get on the ocean. As always thank you for allowing us to tag along on your amazing adventures.

Peter, I love your videos and started watching a lot of EFRT videos just over a year ago. I am from Sudbury as well and am very familiar with the Near North, Killarney , Manatoulin Island and area. I just wanted to share some truth with you and Dan. Something strange hits me,, when you state that the Killarney mountain ranges is a couple BILLION YEARS OLD ,,,,, ! ! ! Not sure where you are getting your information from , as I was under the impression that you, or at least your parents are Christians. Most Christians are aware that the earth is only 6,000 -10,000 years old, just as the Bible proves that it is. There is NO measuring instrument that man has, which can measure even 10,000 years ,,,let alone 100s of 1000s, 1 million, 100 million or anywhere in the range of 1 billion years. There is nothing that exists to measure in the thousands of years.......... I am not sure why people will BLINDLY believe statements,,, that the earth is, 10s of thousands or even older ! ! ! When the numbers get grossly inflated to millions of years old,,,,, AGAIN,,, there is NO measuring device known to man, that can measure 10s of 1000s of yrs of age,, let alone millions or laughably BILLIONS.... Please stop spreading mis-information that is untruthful and definitely NOT Biblical. As the information you just shared is NOT what Gods Word says in the Bible. Thank You. If yous are Christians, then why are yous hiding your faith. When you have a huge platform, that allows yous to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. if you are ashamed of the Gospel in front of man ,,,then Jesus will be ashamed of you in front of God The Father.

I had to pause to grasp the facts. the autopilot is on and working therefore, if you fall out of the boat she just continues without you; however, Dan is in the cockpit along with this a. pilot. Big big question Pete; does Dan have the same level of enthusiasm and knowledge that you have to secure the autopilot, and do a williamson turn to retrieve you, if you fall out? Basically, I love this idea, but .... I hope Dan was the one who taught you how to sail :) :).

My earliest camping memories are boat camping 1/2 of my family had sailboats the other half had ski boats, and we would often camp in lakes and rivers around the Pacific Northwest by boat.

Wow! You are very brave. Looks like a lot of fun! Consider getting a lanyard for your phone so that you don’t drop it overboard by accident. I don’t know anything about sailing, but it looks like your motor is still trailing in the water even though you’re using a sail. Should the prop be brought out of the water when you’re not using the motor?
