I get that it is still a lot of money. What I meant is that only a year ago this camera would cost at least 6000 dollars new.

​@@MicaelWidell I understand what you mean, and for a mirrorless camera, the price isn’t terrible. The body costs $2,600 new on Amazon US today, and I’ve seen mirrorless cameras priced as high as $10,000. However, for people like me, that’s still a lot of money. For example, I own the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens, and I paid just under $2,200 for it-that alone was half of my savings. I currently use the Nikon D7500 because I’m not ready to switch to mirrorless yet. Besides being too expensive for me right now, I feel that mirrorless technology isn’t quite where it needs to be for my needs. I plan to wait a few more years before considering the switch. Who knows, I might never switch because I love the combination of my D7500 and the 70-200mm lens. I’m primarily an animal, zoo, and nature photographer, and so far, this setup works perfectly for me.

Im glad to learn you are not abandoning Macro, as there are more aspects you have yet to explore. Im in Maine, and can completely understand the frustration involved with a lengthy macro off season. Perhaps devote some time to collecting specimens for the cold seasons like Allan Walls, and branch out into some Studio Macro. You are not just a great macro photographer, but a great mentor for those of us into macro.

Studio macro isn’t really my thing. I don’t find it exciting enough and I am too impatient. I like the element of surprise and uncertainty that you can only get when doing street or macro “out in the field”

​@MicaelWidell I completely understand. For me it's the opposite end of the macro spectrum from my normal shooting. I have several macrophotography friends where it is their primary type of macrophotography, so as I approach trying studio macro, I'll be able to bounce questions off of them. I have noticed in photography having 2 spectral views does resolve issues I might have from just one perspective. Well, I'll still be following you. Street Photography is a type I haven't done in a few decades, so I'll learn from your efforts. So far from your videos I've learned some very important lessons on patience. That might not have been your intended lesson, but in macro it's a very helpful tool. You are a good photographer.

I love my wrist straps for the compact and dSLR. I bought the Small Rig version but the idea of the magnets may see me going with the Peak Design.

You could make street photography videos in the colder months and then return to Marco in the warmer months. Because personally I followed you Because of the macro videos

Yep that is the plan! And macro will be more fun when I only do it in the summer :)

@ exactly i hardly use my camers these days.. if I do it is to take Christmas decoration closeups or if get snow here in Denmark, snowflakes

Ha, the best time for street photography in Sweden would be Spring, Summer abd Autumn.

I bought my camera bag many years ago. No idea of the brand. I carry two Canon cameras. One older DSLR with one extra lens. Either a 60mm macro, or the 70-300mm zoom lens, and often also the 24 mm lens. The first two are great for panoramic photos. I use them for architecture photos while out shooting in Stockholm. The other camera is the Canon R with the Viltrox 85mm lens. Plus extra batteries for the mirrorless.

Thanks! It is a Houdini hoodie from last years collection. I usually don't buy their clothes because they are so expensive, but this one was at a discount. Super comfortable and warm, love it!

@@MicaelWidell I love hoodies with this kind of inner 'fur'. Just checked their website and it looks like a very high quaity brand. Polartec fabric is my favorite. Thanks man!

Haha - did anybody tell you that you resemble a very famous former german soccer player named Matthias Sammer, who was also Germanys mist valuable player when they won the European Championships in 1996, quite a lot. You really could be his younger brother 😂👍
