I had a art teacher who didn’t really approve of anime, so when I was in her class, she would always tell me, “I know you have a more anime-ish style, but maybe could you make the eyes a little smaller or something like that.” But ONE DAY, when I went to her room to finish up some work during lunch, I noticed she was searching up anime hairstyle references, anime eye references, and putting them on a doc and printing them out. I love this video so much because I basically had an art teacher who was practically the same as big D personality wise. Same humor, same wisdom, same discipline. The only difference being is that my art teach was so short that it was hard to tell the difference between her and all of the other high schoolers in the room half the time. This woman was basically the big sister I never had. She helped me through a lot during my 2nd and 3rd year, and I really wish that she wouldn’t have left before my 4th year but oh well... I will always think about her as a big influence on me and she will always hold a special place in my heart
