What a fabulous apartment! I cant' believe the size of your kitchen and the amount of storage and counterspace. If you can buy that place, it's definitely something to look into because you don't find very many apartments like that.

OMG - great intro, Daphne & your friend sticking out his/her hand for candy! The decorator in me would also put a large mirror on small wall angled towards large window. Mirrors across from natural light are just beautiful! Great job on your first solo apt. Does the complex have a great workout room like your last place?

how are you liking your bedroom?? i had a very similar setup in my last apt and i absolutely hated it. I did not like the sliding door even though it was technically a 1br (no way to properly close and lock if need be) but worst of all was not having any windows. It was super depressing, i ended up sleeping on my couch for most of my time in my old apt!
