Good news!!!!!!!!! Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah. Acts 3:19-20 CSB From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Matthew 4:17 CSB “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15 CSB Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:3, 5 CSB Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Sir I have a query About SPACED REPETITION.. how can a student manage it if he has already gone through the test of those particular topics and later gets busy with lots and lots of new topics and other study stuff so how do you actually manage a spaced repetition on the midst of a very busy session. No matter how hard I try.. the things i once studied for tests are opened again only in the final exams and by then they are already long forgotten

Phase 1. Scoping the general topics and subtopics of a subject: use active recall techniques according to the retrospective time table that fits your schedule. identify where you strengths and weaknesses of the subject. Phase 2. Fill the holes in your knowledge very broadly and fight the temptation to get deep into the evidence. Phase 3. Drill down into the details until you're confident that you could reach a higher mark in the class. * pick your favorite flashcard creator whether its quizlet or making your own. Use this not for broad subjects, but for the niches. * use the retrospective time table to log when you study each topic within certain subjects. TESTING-active recall, flashcards, testing yourself before, during, and after studying SPACING-"deliberate non-practicing", space out study sessions to forget some information CATEGORIZING-if you want learn the information, create a category-based system such as a "tree of knowledge" or "mind map" with branches that hold specific information about that general subject INTERLEAVING-if you're finding learning hard, then you're learning correctly. the brain is like a muscle; work it out.

@@Rahel_Rashid I would disagree with you, I still watch Thomas Frank's videos consistently. And also, his podcast is great for more conversational content and less serious. In my opinion as a medical student, this video added to the background of your previous content is the best I’ve ever seen on KZbin. Last year I won for the second time the major competition among medical students in Brazil - Elsevier Anatomy Olympiad - then I was awarded with a trip to AMEE (conference about medical education - last year was in Vienna). This video, alone, added much more than the whole conference. I have no words to say thank you, Ali - you make the difference for me. I’m excited to meet you personally soon. It will be one a great honor. Stay safe, Ali. Thank you again!

Eric Tian do u have ideas about the first purpose of using google sheets? about making retrospective active recall timetable
@nimaicupel5 жыл бұрын
Eric he made a video about it. He basically recalls info and then writes the date on google sheets and color codes it based on how easy or hard it was to recall. That way he knows if he’s improving or not. He does that instead of the other timetable method which is basically scheduling specific time on when to recall info. He said this last method doesn’t work as well for him.

Talking about note taking I've personally found it very effective at learning new things. I generally take notes when learning a new subject, then read through the notes to turn them into questions I can use for active recall. But I think the key thing is I will only read them once, I won't revise by just re-reading notes
