Stumbled across your vids while satisfying a random curiosity for Gold Wings. I like that you have a non DCT... I feel like vids on the manual are harder to find. Anyway, I don't have or plan on buying a Gold Wing anytime soon but I do currently have an e92 M3 DCT. 414hp/295tq isn't fast by today's standards but it's fast enough and fun as hell. The 4.0L V8 sounds almost exotic in the upper rpm range. I'm subbin

@@luhvitmayne thanks man! I sold my 2008 e90 M3 last summer - it was an absolutely awesome car. I miss it every day. I didn’t have a local shop comfortable doing the rod bearings and I used to worry about it, but my gosh was it an amazing vehicle to drive.

@@docrides I bet. I'd be sick without mine. Luckily, I have a local shop ran by a couple BMW master techs. Even more luckily, the dealership sold me the car with a 3yr aftermarket warranty so I had a lot of stuff done under coverage, including RBs. The warranty has expired already so my fingers are crossed every day lol. The only thing I'm anticipating are the throttle actuators, but if that's all I have to pay for in 3yrs+ of ownership I'm still considering myself lucky

Nice to find your video. Your stream of consciousness conversational style jives with mine, and about the only motorcycle-related riding video that is not painful to hear. Maybe similar education and professional levels? Not sure. My dad and i also had a close bond, and motorcycle riding (extends to my grandpa too) was a big part of that. He passed in 2009 at 92 and I still miss him. My Goldwing is a 2018 DCT Tour that I use for long distance touring, and I had a 2008 Road King that I gave to my son. On the jeans, you may want to try DYNS Dyneema/Kevlar single layer jeans. They are as comfy and breathable as my Levi’s. Happy riding!

@@4940markhutchins thanks for the tip. Very glad you don’t mind the style of video!

The high beam switch is bad design for us 6 speed owners. You had yours on 14:50 ->. Happens to me all the time when shifting. To extend my comment in your previous video, it is much better to watch pov riding video than watcing a talking head. You most likely will not build a big subscriber count with this style of content but most likely will build a small community who watch all the content you make. Stories seem to come naturally from you so let your mouth go. When beginner youtubers aim for views and subs, I loose interest. So far your channel is unique.

Thanks! Yeah - this will never be a big channel. But it’s fun to make the videos. I figure I can watch them during the winter months and scratch the itch.
