In America, the roads are not free. We pay for them in our taxes. In Michigan, in particular, we pay 70 cents of tax per gallon of gas. It is the 6th highest gas tax in the country. The gas tax is used to pay for roads, at least a portion of it. We also pay state and federal taxes that contribute to paying the roads. Some people even pay a city tax as well.

In Russia most of the roads are free. There are paid one, those are big between the South and the North. But mostly roads are free everywhere almost. And there is always an option to choose free roads in most of countries.

Yeah, taxes are crazy. They are coming with more taxes to take from people. I heard about a rain tax somewhere in Europe. Still not sure if that's true or not. But taxes aren't fair sometimes.

It is very wise to SAVE as much money as you can in early life and work!!! A time will come when you are old, no one wants you for work. The next thing will happen is age weakens the body and many many illnesses begin: cancers of all types, heart problems, eye illnesses, weak circulation problems, digestion, lungs.... and every type of illness means you can do less for yourself but many costs come with illnesses. Surgery, medicines, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, medical nursing help. BE PrEPARED. Do not slack and avoid work during your best years. You will regret slacking when old age appears. You will realize how stupid you were. I hope you have a life prepared for old age....when no one will bail you out or pay the bills for you. Prepare and be capable in old age. Think long about these words. They are true.

“Free” parking isn’t really free even though you don’t pay. Do the people who maintain the “free” parking areas do it for nothing? I don’t think so. We have “free parking lots “ here but the city pays to keep them going. And where does the city get the money to maintain the parking lot? From the citizens of course. Who pays for the roads that you ride your bicycle on for nothing? The citizens who pay taxes.❤️🇨🇦

I see. But still minimalism is about mostly being satisfied of what we have and to not care about those who have more. It's not the most important to own a lot of things or to have the most expensive ones.
