I am surprised you do not play 1 cave clash; free fiendess recovery every turn and power/defense boost is really helpful

Cave Clash makes the deck work if you ask me. It's a name for Guru, recovers Fiendess or a destroyed Final Battle, and gives you insane damage potential.

I use the trap card (feint plan) “ neither player can target facedown monsters with attack this turn” then you can just pop off with other combos as well

Sorry but Feint Plan is really bad. It doesn’t offer any protection against targeting or even destruction effects, nor does it disrupt your opponent in any meaningful way. There are better traps you’d rather use than that. If you’re looking for battle protection, Threatening Roar is a much better option since it also prevents your opponent from attacking your face-up cards, but that card is also too specific and does very little. If you’re playing super casually, then sure that card can have its uses in certain situations, but in even a slightly competitive setting, that card is just plain terrible.

@@OfTheMindscape bro i know i was throwing that card out there dont mean i cant play the card and who cares if its bad just play the game now if i was in a thousand dollar yugioh contest then of course i wouldnt play that card but then again you have handtraps that can make this card play so 🤷🏻♂️

Glad somebody still plays this deck the fun way. Sure it’s not meta but it’s more fun and interactive than brain dead guru control

I love watching these profiles so I can make solo-mode decks for master duel lol. I just like playing with them like action figures, so when I play a subterro deck or a madolche deck or whatever I want it to be pure just for fun solo play. Vids like these are the perfect blend of casual and competentent deckbuilding.

Do not sleep on Speleogeist. He's the only extender to put 2 face-up names on board. Open Hidden City and either Guru or Speleo while going second grants instant pressure and makes both Guru and Fiendess' disruption live without burning Final Battle. The potential to swing for stupid damage can also steal games.

I've been using Subterror for the last 3 months. I just put one together. It is more of the control variant with Lord of the Heavenly Prison to protect backrow and some Crackdowns to take monsters for link plays. Also flipping them face-down with Guru makes them permanently yours.

I love that play. I've been playing guru for a couple years now and every time I use it I get rule sharked and it's hilarious when the judge rules me right

Why don't you use the card: "Subterror Cave Clash"?
