@@LMacNeill The company can't claim they offer completely hand-made guitars being they use CNC to mill out parts.
@LMacNeill4 ай бұрын
@@user-zn6gz4ub7w they use the CNC to mill out the rough cuts, then finish them by hand. That’s still hand-made. That’d be like using a stamping machine to stamp out metal parts. Only the stuff that needs to be 100% precise is done by machine, and even then, it’s not finished by a machine.
@user-zn6gz4ub7w4 ай бұрын
@@LMacNeill You just proved my point. CNC machine cut, then FINISHED by hand. The fingerboard and neck was also CNC. Almost the entire guitar was cut and shaped by CNC. In the real guitar world those guitars are by no means completly hand made.

And all that on Senseo coffee, amazing. But a question, why that perpendicular grain for the neck, all my guitars had grains paralel to the neck. For a violin (I have family who build violins in Maastricht) perpendicular grain may be okay, but for a guitar neck that takes a lot more strain that instictively wouldn't be my first choice.

Damn!!! That thing sounds unbelievably good. I'm 56yrs old & have played many manufactures of Single coil & humbucker pickups (and don't get me wrong, I love them both) but those P90's have such a fat, crystal clear bell tone I"m just blown away. Of course the craftsmanship of the instrument can't be overstated either. I let my ears be the judge & what I heard was pure bliss. That's a lifetime achievement instrument if I ever saw one. Bien fait, Marceau Guitars! Bien fait!!!!
@soondubu.4 ай бұрын
I think those are Jazzmaster pickups, not P90’s, judging by the size, how the pole pieces are not screw-adjustable, and the four extra tabs for mounting the pickups rather than the two extra holes in the middle of the pickup. That’s why they have a clearer, smoother sound than most p90s!
@Quikshiver4 ай бұрын

Love the new guitar excitement. And the smell of a new guitar. Like how the fretboard was Plek'd before the frets were installed. For proper fall off and flatness. Yeah, beautiful guitar Mary. I've just bought a boutique guitar from the US made by a company called Michael Kelly. It's their Hybrid special. Semi hollow all wood body with wooden humbucker covers and wooden knobs. It has two humbuckers (with split coils) and a Fishman piezo under the saddle. All three p/u can be played in any combination or individually and, using a stereo cable, the piezo and humbucker outputs can be sent to different amps simultaneously. It sounds amazing! This guitar together with my hand made Australian Maton acoustics means I sound better than I am and am in guitar heaven. Thanks for the video.
