This was sick man, definitely cool to see your approach in the workout plan and kit. Helps better inform me on what i should be prioritizing/ doing to be better.

@@ryanclarke603 Appreciate it! Are you competing in Tactical Games?

@@SonoranSteel I plan to when I return from overseas! I have done some run and gun events but those were a bit more tactical oriented. However they both really expose what’s important to me as a shooter. Videos like yours definitely make it easier to be better prepared for a new sport 🤙🏻

Sweet video. My wife and I are competing in the Utah event as well we have been using Jacob Heppners training program. Training for this event is no joke.

@@mxer5515 thanks! Mind my asking how many days a week are you training, and how much are you running?

@@SonoranSteel I train cardio 6 days a week, I have switched to more "CrossFit" style work outs 4-5 days a week, from the typical weightlifting. 3 days running 2 miles with the vest during lunch at work, 1 day I trail run 3 miles with a vest, I do mountain bike 1-2 days for some fun cardio 4-5 days I do the Heppner metcons, (His program also has metcons you can do outdoor that incorporate shooting into the rounds of work just like the games will do.) You can get linked to the workouts on the Tactical Games website if you are looking into it. I try to do his lifting schedule as well which is more for strength but prior injuries I won't go as heavy. Longevity is a real thing to think about with this stuff. so lifting might be my own schedule based on how his other workouts get me. (lots of sand bags)

@@SonoranSteel I train 6 days a week, cardio is definitely a priority. I run 2 miles with vest 2x, 3 mile trail run with vest 1x a week, along with 4-5 Heppner metcons per week (15-20 min but high and heavy intensity). Heppner programs some strength training as well but with modifications because of prior injuries. Longevity is important to me and progressing without getting injured. I have really enjoyed the process of being more well rounded with my fitness. I still have a long way to go for sure.

Every suppressor cover I've tried fails by coming off until I tried the Mod-Tac. They are pricey but if you have to have one there is no comparison.

Interesting, haven’t heard of them before, I’ll check them out. I think this one will do the job, since the tactical games won’t require a heavy schedule of fire.
