Used tailfin with a ribble titanium endurance bike, rear panniers, trunk bag and a bag on the seatpost, but sold the bike to somemobody who will be riding the length of the UK. Now just ride ICE trikes, using a combination of a 100L Cyclone IV trailer , Ortlieb 70L Backroller XL plus panniers, Vaude 48L panniers , Ortlieb 12L trunkbag, Ortlieb 24L Rackpack bag and sidepod bags. Can only use 1 of 2 side panniers when pulling the trailer.

Looks nice stuff, but cost is just crazy 😠 I’d estimate about £1000 for the tailfin kit you have 😢

Yeah you’d be about right!

I've also seen a few massive failures of the rear rack - always in the worst possible locations on a tour!

I’ve had the tailfin setup and I find it far too heavy for what it is and did not like at all the top bag, way too heavy and awkward to use. I sold it all on eBay in the end. Also too many specialist parts if there are issues out on the road to fix. Did you buy all of these parts yourself? As this this is a very expensive setup to buy in one go?

Yeah I get that. It’s not the lightest. No I didn’t buy any of it!
