The SBGC275 may be too big, too angular, to spaghetti O, too expensive, but the way they made the dial is a breakthrough that will give the pattern in their darker dial better so it’s as significant down the line as the manual 80 hour high beat movement.

How can the new Nomos Tangente 38 Date (31 colours) be limited to 175 per piece?! They appear to already be sold out on the Nomos site but are available immediately at a number of online sellers (Wempe, Christ, Bucherer.....) There must be more than 175 per piece!

I believe the divers in the 50s did just fine with 50s midsize (e.g. 37mm) era skin divers. I can therefore only give credence to your all gold dive watch critique. Conversely, despite a solid yellow gold Submariner being obviously more about wrist jewelry for the wealthy than an actual dive tool, it still is a 300m professional dive watch. The majority of professional divers of today use dive computers, and may use a traditional analog diver as a backup, or to have fun with while diving. Hence dimensions or materials used for construction for divers are irrelevant, because professional divers, on average, won't use traditional analog divers anyway.

I get tired of KZbinrs giving poor reviews to larger watches because they don't fit their tiny 6" wrists. In the case of the GS, I agree this design is too busy but once again complaining about the size because the reviewer is a small guy. This is a common flaw on many YT watch channels.

Ratings are subjective for a reason. The same reason why a KZbinr with 8" wrists might rate a 37mm or 38mm dress watch lower. I don't think it's flawed.

Bad take, because small watches still look significantly adequate on larger wrists than do big watches on smaller wrists. A 7.25 inch wrist wearing a 35mm looks fine while a 44mm on a 6.25 inch looks ridiculous.
