@@drcharlesapoki her father might be Nigerian but she has been westernized. Many Nigerian women spend less than 2 years abroad and become hyenas. What then do you expect from a woman raised by a philandering father? I don’t believe the physical abuse excuse without evidence as it’s been shown that women lie unprovoked and they are believed majority of the time. I won’t claim to know the whole of the story but I’ll say this; if you like treat western women like queens they usually feel there are greener pastures outside. The mentality is creeping into Nigerian society quickly.

God afternoon sir! Always amazing to see you and hear your words of wisdom. I think I have come to realise that our generation lack proper problem solving abilities, basically the skill of how to abase and abound as Paul pits it. The ability to break situations down and pick the best solution and keep it moving. People like control and only God can handle control. Thank God for fathers like you sir, who give sound wisdom and encouragement to learn to keep moving. Much love sir.

I really enjoy your practicality and down to earth attitude in your videos. I watch silently, but I am compelled to explain few things many people, especially those in Nigeria May not be aware of. I explain this as an elderly person who reside in America, raise 5 children (men & women) almost 40 yrs. 1: The stress in the USA is not comparable to anywhere is in the world. 2: Depression is very frequent here and suicide occurs when a depressed person is so overwhelmed and see no way out. 3: The affected person needs therapy to get over a depressed state. 4: family support is crucial! Parenting does not end at 18. We have to still carry our adult children spiritually and psychologically. Be open enough for them to be able to talk to you candidly about issues of life. No judgments!! That alone saves lives. Suicide begins with an ideation. The event of suicide cannot happen without the means. (Gun) In Ikenna’s case, he had suicide ideation and the means. The only thing he missed was the buffer( therapy, family support, personal resilience) My heart is broken as a parent for the young man and his family. RIP! 😢

In America, a divorce can bankrupt you as a man. My fellow Kenyan brother lost everything he had worked for for, for 20 years and his wife got the house and his pension. She claimed that he was planning to leave her and move to Kenya. He went from being a very successful banker, making hundreds of thousands, to being homeless. Don't joke with American women, it's better to marry a fellow African, at least we have commonalities

I know everyone's situation is unique. However, some say don't marry American women. But, no one ever speaks about the American wives who are wonderful and submissive to their Nigerian husbands who signed up for monogamy. But some Nigerian men have ulterior motives. Have plans to secretly marry another. Or hide that they have wives back home with children. Who they are not even loyal to. Then, when the American wife finds out they are labeled bad when they remove themselves and children from a toxic situation, they didn't sign up for after years of marriage. Yes, I am that woman. It hurt like heck when I found this out. My "husband" still hasn't taken accountability for it. Even though i secretly heard this from his own mouth. Narcissist at his best. However, I still wish him the best, just not with me. Also, I don't want the house, but we do need to sell it to split the funds. It wasn't a problem when he was secretly sending money back home to his other family I didn't know about. However, I have to take accountability because i over trusted him, and he underestimated me.

Dr. Apoki, One of the worst things that can happen to a professional in the Western world or in Europe is to loose one's professional license to practise that profession. It is practically impossible to go to another country except in Africa to get a job in the same profession. Most people change career once they loose their license, because unlike in Africa most people are very interested why you left your previous job and consider you unfit for hire in the same career one lost his license. In the late 80s or early 90s, I heard of a Nigerian doctor whom you may have known because he finished in your set in your alma matter, committed suicide because he had problems with the licensing authority in the UK.

Thank you very much sir for this teaching I pray that our young men and women will take and learn from it life does not consist on the abundance of what we have or possess. At the end of the day the parents/family of Ikena are the biggest looser as you rightly said he could have walked away if he feels the judgment was unjust. Another thing is we should take care of our self though he's a doctor nothing stops him from have a family doctor who if he's not able to manage his mental health can refer him to a phycologist he is not here to tell his own side of the story. Very sad my heart goes out to his family I allof us learn from this .children should please listen to wise counsel of parents I for one God forbid will not allow my child male or female marry the father inlaw's child even if the are the richest. I pray God gives life i have decided my son will Not marry a black girl Not because of her skin color but because he's like me with sickle cell traits parents should if they can stand their ground we their children are making life decisions above pray for them except the Lord builds a house the labor in vain that builds it

I just left the funeral. He was my classmate in Nigerian Navy secondary school Portharcourt. He was too kind as an individual. Some information going about on social media are false, but I guess his family don’t want to speak now because they want to respect the dead for now. I’m sure they will come up with a statement later.

The false information abound. However, I am glad that the people that know him and his family are celebrating the wonderful human being he was and have chosen to ignore the noise from bloggers and content creators.

Its always the kind ones, falling for these jezebels! such as promising future, done because of a lady from a man who boast about women butts and how many he sleeps with! People should look into the family they marry into

Ooooh!!! What a pity! When you lost everything, you sit up, encourage yourself, restrategize and restart from zero. Many of us are doing it. Giving up is not a good option
