Also...we use magazine holders as their mailboxes. It does take up space. A lot of space but we can put all their notes in it....

So now I have to go shopping this weekend! I'll be at Walmart looking for those post-it notes and I loved Mr. G's idea for the organization (3 pull out drawers) labeled with days of the week. (I found it on his facebook when I went to look at his freebie stickers!) Oh yes! And I need to buy sticker paper! Love your vlog! Breathing new life into my teaching! I love my job!

The Norwex cloths are really good for wiping glass. I always use them for my windows and mirrors. They work great fr things like that. You don't even need windex.

In New Zealand we have a tower similiar to your mailbox but narrower slots in which you can keep the ipads and then charge them there. Its a Kensington brand, thought you might find that more efficient.

How funny you said you went to school in Houston. I was born and raised in Houston (moved when I was 25 to NH.) I was in elementary school in the 70's and 80's. The humidity was the WORST! LOL. I even like the ramblings you do. :)

@Real life ofa teacher, we have been doing NWEA testing as well and my class is a collab class and we had spent 2 hours making classes and loading students to find out that we had to reload our students differently. Also most of our students didn't finish and have to finish on a makeup day!!

For me, working full-time and going to school full-time is extremely hectic. I have to be at work by 6am most days, then I leave at noon to get to class by 12:30 and I'm not done for the day until at least 6pm. Lots of rushing and driving and changing clothes! 😁
@pinktatergirl278 жыл бұрын
By the way, I have the exact same little envelope post-its!! 😊 I use them for notes like you do and then at Christmastime for letters from Santa to my nephew--we have a mini mailbox I got from the Dollar Tree that I slip a note into once a week each week leading up to Christmas, encouraging him to be good and to send in his list. 💕

Having to wait for the copier hit a cord. I work at a community school that services students from pre-natal to adult ed. (I teach 3rd) and we have one copy machine to share. The teachers have their own printer which is great for small jobs, however, when making copies from other sources than the internet one has to wait in a line or find the perfect time.

At my school we (the teachers) administer the test, set up the different test sessions, and we have to trouble shoot just about every problem that comes across our way. Our test coordinator had to run from classroom to classroom to answer question and/or help with glitches. However, the biggest stress came from an internet provider that is not supportive. Talk about having fight for a connection.

I use my Planner as a bullet journal and I just know that I need to complete that list before I go home, or I will not be a happy camper the following day. Some days I need to return to the school to finish up, it's not my favorite but it sets me up for a happy next day ;)

The most hectic part of my day (team-teacher of 5th/6th grade in Luxembourg), is getting all the students in time and with all the right material to the right classroom without having them running around like headless chickens :)

My students does the same thing when I tell them to go get ready for Health and they run like chicken but I do is I have them line up infront of me then I ask them a question they answer but if they run to their mailbox I tell them to get back in the line and I try again
