Another wonderful vlog. I am so pleased the algorithm suggested you a short while ago. 2024 has been a tough one for our family and KZbin has helped me keep in touch with sewing so thank you. Looking forward to your ‘25 vlogs. ❤

Just found you this morning and have spent this snowy morning in West Virginia USA binge watching your content. Yes I subscribed and look forward to checking in whenever I have the free time. Would love any of your insight on how well you think indie pattern companies are doing as far as the quality of the garment fit and pattern instructions. Thank you for your easy to view videos and the links you provide on anything you cover your attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Happy New Year!

I love that you are from the fashion industry but now demonstrate how an "at home" sewer can create great things with good fabric and patterns. Also you give us a bit of confidence in adjusting patterns to achieve a more personalized look! Happy New Year!!

You make beautiful, stylish garments. Even the more casual items have a special touch to elevate them. Thank you for mentioning your bag pattern. I have the pattern and it really deserves to be made.

Thank you for modeling all your favorites! I liked them all very much- especially the leopard wrap dress! I think the paring down of the collar on the first cost was a real improvement. It looks very comfy. Happy New Year and I look forward to your videos in 2025!!

Hi Rachel, beautiful makes this year, thanks for sharing. I've always wanted to make a wrap dress but hesitate as most appear too low set, I prefer a little more coverage. This wrap dress appears to be more modest than others and very flattering on you. Looking forward to your new plans, I will be watching. Happy New Year!

I’m really enjoying your channel and makes. I have to say the animal prints really light you up. That’s not true of everyone, or maybe you are just better at picking the classier fabrics, which I think is true. Happy New Year!

Really enjoying your content. Great information from a very stylish person who has worked in industry. Always look forward to your new videos. Just a query about the Sister Mag halter neck pattern. Bought the pattern but only has facing not lining instructions. Wondering if you could explain how you bagged it out. Which seam did you leave open to pull everything through? Also, how did you finish off the holes where the straps feed through. Such a great pattern but not great instructions. Catherine 🇦🇺

Hi Catherine, it's a few months since I made the halter neck top but I didn't use facings I just cut the outer pattern to use as a bagged out lining, I think I left a few inches open at the hem and joined the back neck seams after. I made the opening for the tie to pass through by cutting a square of fabric, placing it RS to RS and stitching a slit, I cut it and pushed the square or fabric to the WS, pressed it flat and stitched around the edges to secure - I hope that makes sense!

Very inspirational - would like to make a few of these. Do you think your pencil skirt could be made in denim? Not with an overlay - just single layer? Happy New Year 😎❤
@gemimalondon10 күн бұрын
Hi Sue, yes most definitely you could make it in denim, would be nice with some topstitching detail too!
