hi! its important to talk about the history of the islands in depth. the explanation she gave is not accurate. the islands took 100 years to be colonized, the spanish and amazigh community coexisted for a time- of course under oppression. Canarians have a high degree of amazigh dna. we dont like it when foreigners talk about our history without real knowledge, it has been happenning since the begginning of time and it is important to honour the people who are autoctonous to this land, especially when living in it. Knowing the history is respecting the land and our people.
