My Terrifying Experience During The Storm

Hey Bro! I was helping a friend of mine and it was scary walking out in these winds over 80MPH. This was a cat 4 at 140MPH before landfall. Never thought it would be so bad for this far up north. Power still out in the community and I'm running on backup power. Been clearing up debris and helping neighbors. Praying for everyone. Heartbreaking seeing what happened around here near Valdosta GA and in Florida. This was the worst hurricane to hit this area in the longest time. Stay safe!

I live in Georgia, thank the good Lord we are safe. I prayed and prayed hard. 58 yrs old and never been through something like that. He listened, kept me and my son safe. Now we pray for the folks in North Carolina.

I'm on the Atlantic side in St Augustine, and it was crazy over here. Our power flickered dozens of times, and I could literally hear the power surges, it was scary. We got off so lucky compared to other areas. Prayers for everyone that was affected by this beast of a storm

Omg @Kelsieyork - We felt it yesterday here in WV too. Heavy down pours and winds in the lower half of the state near KY. I'm in the Western part of WV and we got a really good amount of rain all day, we needed it after no rain around here for a few months but still, too much of a good thing all at once, can be bad too. Glad to hear that you and your area are all doing good now...or at least that's my hope. Take care.

I am so thankful you and your animals are okay from the Hurricane. We got the Tropical Storm part here in North Georgia. There were trees down all over the place but we made it through with no power outage but others were no so lucky all around us. The Carolinas were hit hard as well as Tennessee and South Georgia.
